To start things simply, I am so glad I decided to go with myTEFL. I was able to learn so much in a nicely flowing structure with the standard 120-hour course. You are able to go at your own pace, but there also isn’t any worry about finishing the course in the amount of time given as all the lessons are super easy to digest. The content is presented in such a way that there shouldn’t be any room for confusion, and even if you do find yourself troubled, there is a super responsive tutoring service via email.

On top of the lesson content, myTEFL provides other great sources such as sample lesson plans and plenty of other websites that will help you with your teaching journey.

Another amazing factor of the myTEFL experience is their assistance in finding your dream job. They help with finding teaching positions in numerous countries across the globe. Their assistance services are quick and you will never be without a response to an email.

I highly recommend myTEFL overall. The only thing I should mention is that the 120-hour course really is just reading without much else, something that I am completely fine with, but I know others can be put off by heavy blocks of text. But, as I mentioned before, all of the content was very clear and not at all difficult to understand.

I actually did a couple of grammar courses right before doing mytefl, and none of them went as deep as this course did. It wasn’t easy, you actually have to do the work, but it is filled with all of the important details needed about this field. I also appreciate all of the information that they give within the course about how to get a job, what type of jobs there are, the requirements and pay, and they even go as far as providing information for where you can apply for a job. Not to mention that their library is filled with tools and resources that you can use within a classroom.

I work full time but because this course can be done at your own pace, I was even able to finish early. The layout is easy and I never had problems with using the website or completing quizzes. Honestly, you get a lot more then what you pay for so I recommend it for anyone.

I recently completed the 120-hour TEFL course and found the entire experience to be extremely affordable, thorough, and easy to access. I thought the material was both interesting and easy to navigate/understand and had a wonderful time learning the ins and outs of the English as a language. The resources offered as a part of the course were phenomenal. If I ever needed assistance, I received quick responses as well as a library of sources I could access both during the course and for future teaching opportunities. I also appreciated the assessments peppered throughout the course and the instant grading feature used. They helped me stay on top of the material I didn’t understand fully and, therefore, provided me a path to improvement. Overall, this course was very well structured, informative, and engaging. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to further their knowledge in teaching English.

Hearing about this course at first, I thought would be very different and unfamiliar. But once I started it and finished it in a few weeks, I came to learn this course has everything you need to assist you in teaching English. Everything was well planned, organized, and useful! Definitely one of my favourite courses. Very happy with my experience.

I chose myTEFL’s online TEFL master certification course based on recommendations from several blogs on top TEFL providers, the availability of discounts, the extensive potential job placement support (I teach online for now and am not planning to take advantage of this immediately, but I love that I’ll have access to that support in the future), and the availability of the 140-hour course which includes a module on online teaching.

I had already completed a shorter TEFL course offered by the online teaching company I work for, but myTEFL’s course was far more extensive and offered a lot of good practical knowledge in terms of how to construct a lesson plan–I’m branching out into other teaching companies with more of a true independent-contractor situation where I will need to create my own lessons, and although I finished the myTEFL course pretty quickly I’m definitely coming back to reference their material as I build my own courses. So 5 stars for that!

My biggest critique is that the 65% threshold needed to pass all the quizzes seems a bit low and might devalue the achievement of having completed the course. A threshold of 75% or even 80% would be perfectly attainable for anyone who reads thoroughly and answers the questions with care (I mean, it’s essentially open-book, it’s really not that hard!)

All in all, I would definitely recommend myTEFL’s course. As a final note, the customer service team feels incredibly friendly and responsive and welcoming, which I also love. I’m excited to be certified and looking forward for the all the future possibilities that brings!

This self-paced course with an online teaching component was exactly what I was looking for. I have taught before without taking any courses and I really wish I would have studied with mytefl before doing so. The course was so user friendly that I never needed to reach out for assistance but the day I signed up I was contacted by a team member who was willing to help if I needed it. I also really liked that I could track my grade as I went through the course and that I have access to resources for a while after completing the course. I’m not sure there is any constructive criticism to offer, I definitely recommend this course.

I took my TEFL course from the MyTEFL company and I am very happy I did. Not only the content was interesting and well presented, but it was also fun to go thru and very intelligently structured. Every time I asked for information to the different services of MyTEFL I received a fast answer and felt the people at MyTEFL genuinely wanted me to succeed

Finally, the course was affordable and organized to give the maximum flexibility to the student. I have no reservation in recommending MyTEFL to anyone wanting to teach English abroad or online.

So I have just completed my 120 hour TEFL, and I just want to say the course content was great, very thorough, and the assistance was wonderful. I am already teaching, so I worked on my TEFL chapters after work, as often as possible, and I really love that I will have access to the library for as long as I need it thanks to taking this course :-), I feel like that will be very helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to prepare for teaching English as a second language, or is already teaching and just would like to get a TEFL certificate that is respectable.
