Course is designed quite logically so it was made easy. I appreciated the ample time given to do it in. I always had access to my coach when ever I had questions.

I did the 120-hour TEFL course online. I completed it in 30-days, spending approximately three to five hours a day, five days a week. I thought it was a good program. It was challenging at times, but not overly so. I feel equipped now to do this. The price was good. Support was good. Course content was good. I recommend it.

MyTEFL has been a great choice to achieve my goal of obtaining certification to teach English abroad. This course was affordable and provided a lot of practical, useful, and relevant information that I can apply to any teaching jobs that I may have in the future. This was the best part of it for me. I also liked being able to complete the modules on my own time, at my own pace. Although there was a lot to cover, the time given was sufficient to complete the course. If I had any questions, I could email the company and someone would get back to me right away. A suggestion I have is that it would be great if the course could include some videos to go along with the modules to see some of the lessons in action. The course itself however, is still good. Another outstanding feature that I have yet to check out is the job assistance that myTEFL provides. Not all courses offer this. Overall, I had a great experience with this company and am really happy to have accomplished what I set out to do in a reasonable amount of time.

I was looking for a reputable and affordable TEFL course that I could complete online and not have to dish out hundreds of dollars and months of time. Additionally, many of the TEFL jobs I came across would require that you take their approved TEFL course in order to work for them. I wasn’t a big fan of that. I wanted the freedom to find any job, anywhere, with my own credential. myTEFL is very straightforward and practical in its approach. It clearly outlines what good teaching should look like and shows you how to achieve it. If only my own teachers in elementary school had taken some notes from this course…I wonder how much more I would have enjoyed learning. The course is pretty extensive, but with a dedicated mindset, I was able to complete it in far less than 120hrs. I like that instead of one final test at the end, it is comprised of a series of smaller tests that are given after each section. I think the most valuable pieces of information I gained were regarding lesson planning, feedback, and classroom discipline. These are things I didn’t really understand and that I wish I had understood when I first started tutoring English. I feel a lot more confident moving forward with English tutoring in the future. The only thing I think myTEFL could have improved upon was its visuals. I would have liked a video here and there showing teaching demos or classes. That would have been interesting. Other than that, I am glad I went with myTEFL and I am looking forward to the opportunities it will open for me.

I currently live in the United States but may be moving in the next year. With my current workload, I don’t have a lot time to dedicate to a program so I needed that would facilate my need to work in small intervals of time.

Each of the modules were short enough that during any one of my small study sessions I could complete at least one module including the test.

Since I purchased the 40 hour program. I wasn’t sure how much material I would actually receive. I thoroughly felt satisfied with the quantity and quality of course material.

All aspects of the curriculum were thoroughly covered for such a short program but I don’t feel lacking in the majority of the 5 units.

The library of materials and support resources was a nice surprise. I didn’t expect to get so much with having to pay a large sum of money.

The lesson planning module had plenty of information and it was filled with plenty of suggestions to follow. I do feel a little unprepared in the actual application of these skills.

I would have liked to create a very basic lesson plan using a highly generic sample course book just to have a “hands on” experience with my newly learned skills.

Would I buy the longer course from myTEFL? With absolutely certainty I can say yes.

This course was extremely helpful in preparing for a job teaching English as a second or foreign language. The information was applicable, and very practical and specific lesson plan ideas were explained in detail. The grammar and vocabulary reviews were great as well, since I have not worked closely with some of that material since high school. I am a licensed teacher, so I felt comfortable with some of the suggestions already, but definitely needed a refresher when it comes to TEFL specifically as the classroom content. I would definitely recommend this course to others in the future.

After months of researching TEFL programs, I ultimately chose myTEFL because of all the positive reviews and recommendations it had. I initially started off with the 120-Hour Professional TEFL Course but later on decided to switch to the 140-Hour Master TEFL Course and it was amazing. The program was extremely flexible, comprehensive, and informative. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is seeking a good TEFL course. There is a vast amount of resources available post course as well that are very beneficial!

Really enjoyed this course! The material and resources offered were very helpful, especially if you are new to teaching ESL classes like I am. Once I finished the course the MyTEFL team was quick to try and set me up with a job abroad. The whole process was very easy and informative.

I just completed the 140 hours Masters TEFL course online and I am very impressed with the entire program and the manner in which the course was structured and formatted. The student dashboard is well laid out and all the required information is displayed in a very user-friendly manner. There is also a field displaying your score as you keep progressing in the course.

I also realized that a good knowledge of grammar and vocabulary associated with English is just one aspect of becoming an EFL teacher. The ability to integrate oneself in to a foreign culture, comprehending the skill levels of students, creating lesson plans, presenting material, practicing them with drill activities and finally the production phase for teaching fluency and a plethora of other sub-activities are skills that are required to become a full fledged competent EFL teacher. This myTEFL course did complete justice to all these activities and enabled me to get a good understanding of the requirements to become a competent EFL teacher.

I am feeling very confident about teaching English in a foreign country after having completed this course and am now looking forward to working with the myTEFL team in their job assistance program which is included in the package. This is a very important factor to be considered while picking a course provider because it helps you to create a functional teacher’s resume and connect with prospective employers in the country of your choice.

The last but not the least plus factor in the myTEFL course is the cost. I researched and compared many TEFL course providers and myTEFL stands above all of them. Their cost is very affordable and reasonable compared to the other providers and they are able to deliver this without compromising on the course content and quality.

I would definitely recommend the myTEFL course for anyone who has aspirations to teach English online or in a foreign country.
