I recently completed this TEFL course and found it to be an extremely worthwhile experience. Even after 25 years of teaching, the course opened my eyes to a range of teaching methodologies and, more importantly, when and why to use them effectively. It challenged me to think differently about my teaching practice and reinforced the importance of choosing methods that best suit the learners and the lesson objectives.
The teaching practicums were very useful. They offered realistic classroom experience and helped bridge the gap between theory and practice. Having the opportunity to teach, receive constructive feedback, and reflect on lessons gave me a much clearer understanding of what to expect in a real TEFL classroom. The regular feedback from the instructor was thoughtful, encouraging, and practical, helping me improve with every lesson.
As a native English speaker, I was surprised by how much I learned about the English language itself. There were many aspects of grammar, pronunciation, and language structure that I had never consciously considered before. The course deepened my understanding of English and has made me feel much better equipped to explain language clearly and confidently to learners.
