At the beginning of the course, I felt somewhat out of my depth. However, the program quickly proved to be both engaging and rewarding.

The Teaching Practice observations were particularly valuable, as they allowed me to experience real classroom environments. With each session, I gained new insights and steadily built my confidence.

I also had the opportunity to deliver lessons to actual students, which was my first experience teaching in a real classroom setting. This practical training was instrumental in developing my teaching skills.

Beyond the course itself, Vantage provided outstanding job placement support. Their team assisted me with preparing a professional résumé, cover letter, and introductory video, while also giving me access to an extensive list of teaching opportunities.

Overall, the course not only prepared me to teach English effectively but also gave me the tools and guidance to successfully launch my career.

I came to Vantage Siam through ittt which my friends had recommended. However, I did not want to do an online course and opted for in class training at Vantage, who partners with ittt. Best decision! a) It’s better to study away from your usual environment and responsibilities, b) Thailand is great! And even though I can’t move there now, I can see myself going back to teach at some point. c) At Vantage I got all I want from a training course: my ideal sized class (4-6, we were 5), wonderful classmates, fun and experienced teachers (absolutely loved Chris’ sense of humour), effective training, comprehensive teaching materials, lots of extra resources that are useful for life as an English teacher, and especially practical experience in a “safe” environment in the form of observed teaching practices. The pacing gave my brain enough quietude to absorb the content without having to stress about everything all the time. We were trained in ESA methodology. So I taught 3 classes at a local school to kids of different ages and levels, an adult one-on-one and a kindergarten class at a foundation (which feels extra gratifying) and an online class for adults in a corporate setting all using ESA. Though at first I felt a bit thrown in at the deep end, I soon came to appreciate that exact timing, and I can see it was just right, because it not only gave me creative class preparation and teaching experience, but also called my attention to managing my own expectations, and I could see a progression in my work. The combination of self-evaluation and “third-party” feedback certainly played a significant role in this. These practices have made hesitant me much more confident to actually go out and teach after having received my certificate.

The team was also super helpful regarding living in Bangkok with tips on housing, transport, shopping, fun etc. With my teacher’s encouragement and guidance I finally made use of AI tools which was really helpful and good experience in itself.

We also got training on CV writing etc. with after-course support. Thank you very much Chris, Kevin and Ryan! Love you guys! I’ll be back….for tea!

Vantage has given me the life I always dreamed of, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone there. Without their support and guidance, I would have been left struggling on my own to navigate the complex and often overwhelming world of teaching English in Thailand—or anywhere in Asia, for that matter. I truly owe so much to them. Sometimes I can’t believe how well everything has worked out; I honestly have to pinch myself because I feel so blessed.

I recently completed my TEFL course at Vantage Siam TEFL Training Center in Bangkok, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The staff is very knowledgable with their training. They have a passion to help students succeed and becoming the best teachers they can become. The instructor Chris does a very good job at giving a relaxed learning experience. With one week left of the course my wife decided she is going to take the course as well.

I came to Bangkok to be part of a Disciple Making Movement—training disciples who make disciples. While pursuing this calling, I also needed a source of income to cover living expenses. I noticed that many foreigners were teaching English, and since it was something, I had considered in the past, I reached out to Kevin at Vantage to learn more about the TEFL course.

I recently completed the TEFL course from Vantage TEFL Certification and I was impressed with the quality and absolutely thrilled with the experience.

The instructors Chris, Kevin and Ryan were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. The course content was well structured and comprehensive, covering all the essential topics for a TEFL teacher.

The support provided, including access to online resources and tutoring was impressive. And I was surprised to see Vantage has already introduced the AI tools that could be used in teaching lessons in future. I feel much more confident and prepared to teach English abroad.

I started the TEFL course 4 weeks ago after checking out 5 different tefl/tesol courses around Bangkok.

The thing that hooked me the most was the amount of practice hours, school teaching practice and guidance to getting a job. Along with the teaching practices, I received amazing feedback that molded my current teaching style. Thanks to all practice applied with the feedback on my teaching, I now feel comfortable to teach

anywhere, anytime, for any level of English. I was able to secure an amazing salary for my qualifications, all thanks to the course director Kevin.

In the extension of the job placement, I also received help finding affordable high quality accommodation close to my employer. By the end of the course I felt fully ready to lead a classroom independently and proficiently.

I had the pleasure of doing my training at Vantage in Bangkok. In my experience, learning at Vantage has given me deeper insight into not just the English language, but the process of breaking it down into its components. I gained a better understanding as to why English can be difficult for students because the course covers what we do consciously and subconsciously.

I had a comprehensive though intensive learning experience. The course covers so much more than just English grammar. Coupled with the teaching practices in actual classrooms, I was given the chance to try and apply what I learned. That’s how I think is the best way to internalize skill sets and handle dynamic environments.

I have no regrets participating and I get to take away a lifelong qualification and a skill. The instructors were thorough with the necessary preparation that goes into teaching. The program is well thought-out and I would recommend it to other aspiring teachers.

I did my TEFL training here in February 2025 and from my first day I felt like the Vantage team were devoted to realising my aspirations of becoming a teacher.

From allowing me to sit in on their In-Class lessons (as a Combined Course trainee) to ensuring I was aware of schools in my desired areas of Thailand, Vantage covers everything you could possibly need to feel comfortable in an uncertain stage of life such as a career transition.

What I was provided with:

▪ Unit classes with an experienced teacher who also mentored my growth in my observed teaching practices.

▪ Six real world Observed Teaching Practices which saw me teach students from kindergarten to 18+. I got valuable feedback after each session.
