As a freelance teacher in my home country, I had a decent amount of experience in classrooms, but wanted to take that experience and work in a formal school environment. I also wanted to learn how to work with ESL students as I worked with a number of them in my teaching career. Not only did I learn how to do that, but I learned so much more.
The centre and trainer does an excellent job of taking you through the process of what goes into creating a good lesson and support you every step of the way. You learn effective teaching methodology, language, how to teach said language effectively, and even how to effectively teach pronunciation. All the information that is learned and support provided ensures you can go into an English classroom and not only teach a lesson with confidence, but teach a good lesson.
Chris is an amazing instructor who ensures all concept are understood, keeps theoretical lessons fun, ensures all lesson plans you create are reviewed before teaching, and gives constructive feedback that helps you to grow as an instructor of English. The centre also is extremely helpful in supporting you in your job search, particularly if you are looking for jobs in Bangkok, and even instructs how to write an effective resume and interview techniques.
