Thank you for an excellent and well presented course. I have and will recommend this course to anyone asking me in the future where to do their TEFL training.

I have been welcomed into the course with friendly but firm guidance and I have received very helpful feedback every time I had a question.

When I needed help they were there to help almost immediately. I was on a tight schedule and needed to get my certificate ASAP. Rachel @ The TEFL Academy was a great help and made sure I received my certificate as quick as possible after completing my course. Overall a great course and a great team.

When I first started looking for a TEFL Course, I had no idea where to start. After researching multiple courses, I ultimately decided on The TEFL Academy because of its fair price and course content. Now I’m able to say I wouldn’t choose anyone else! I was able to go at my own pace and look further into subject areas that peaked my interest. The course is laid out well and offers practice questions in each unit. The three assessments are very useful for applying what you learn into a realistic assignment. The assessments were graded in a timely manner and with feedback, though I wish there was more communication with the grader. I learned a lot from the course, and I can use the job search tools it provides to start teaching when I’m ready! I recommend The TEFL Academy!

5 TEFL Course review.

This is the first online course that I have ever taken part in.

I was’nt sure what to expect or whether I would be able to complete it, but my colleague convinced me that teaching English would be my new vocation in life.

I am happy to say that I sat at my computer every night for 3 sometimes 4 hours and was totally engaged on every single unit. They units were full of information and I found myself jotting down everything that I wanted to keep; (I have about 100 pages worth). The exams were very challenging, but I took pride in making sure that I had covered every aspect the best that I possibly could and the feedback from the tutors was explanitory and fair.

The only thing I will say is that I would have liked to have seen some more clips of actual lessons within the course to get a clearer idea of how they are usually delivered (I only found one.) There also didn’t seem to be any guidelines within the course about teaching lessons to children. This maybe something that could be included in the future.

I have really enjoyed the course. It was very informative and nicely put together, with the frequent testing and 3 assignments.

I will be using TEFL Academy for further education in the future.

Hi, my name is Noor!

The level 5 TEFL course was a dream come true. I achieved a dream when I taught all was lost during the COVID 19 pandemic. With this amazing certificate, I can keep teaching little children as if I was still in my classroom but this is so much more fun! incorporating technology and other beautiful resources (which I learnt how to use during the course) my online classroom is vibrant and exciting. When the pandemic is over, I love the travel opportunities I have been afforded since the certification is global.

The 168hr TEFL course that I completed was full of all the essential information and tools I believe I will need to pursue work in ESL teaching. Throughout the entirety of the units, the coursework was spread out well, which meant it wasn’t too overwhelming and felt manageable at all times. I also enjoyed all of the assignments and felt that from the first assignment to the last, I was gaining more confidence with creating the lesson plans. Overall my experience with the TEFL academy has been a good one and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of starting a career in teaching English.

I have studied online for many years and used various online platforms for different subjects. In my years nothing has been as easily to utilise nor well balanced as the TEFL Academy.

It has a clear user interface with one of the best customer service systems in place when compared to other online course platforms. The course itself has a steady difficulty ramp with a proper learning challenge in each segment. The TEFL Academy’s level 5 course easily provides you with the relevant information as well as guides you on how to use that information appropriately.

The course material does at times become difficult to understand and requires a repeat read over or two. The assessments also are not explained fully and requires each student to thoroughly research lesson plans and the like.

However this course is really easy to use and pick up. Though I believe that more in depth information given on how to create a lesson from scratch should be added to teach users of the TEFL Academy this important skill.

Overall it is a great course to use whether you know about teaching or are completely new. It teaches you the basics and gives you an edge on the competition. The TEFL Academy’s course is one that is absolutely great.

An amazing 9/10 from me

Great Experience

My experience with the TEFL Academy was fantastic. The course is designed to effectively teach their students the fundamental skills to enable them to be successful at teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL).

I started to study during the lockdown and have now completed my 168 hours Level 5 TEFL course and have started to apply for online teaching jobs. I am very happy with my choice and would recommend The TEFL Academy to anyone looking for a reputable TEFL Certificate.

I signed up to do Level 5 TEFL Course. I thoroughly enjoyed doing it because it opened my mind to so much of English content as a language that I thought I knew. I learnt facts, got to revise content and learn and be guided on lesson planning. Learning about authentic texts was all new and intriguing. I was impressed with the feedback given on assignments and unit tests helped with reinforcement. Also loved that I could work with the course at my own pace and time.

I recently completed my Level 5 TEFL Course, it was a lot of hard work, but the course itself was laid out in such a nice way, making it easy to complete in the time frame provided. The course content was relevant and each unit followed nicely on the previous one. The feedback for each assignment was very helpful and valuable. The examples provided for the lesson plans were well prepared and easy to follow to compile my own plan for the assignments. My overall experience on the course is excellent and I will refer anyone interested in TEFL to do this course. Well done to the compilers of the course.

The course offerred is great and well worth the money spent. I would recommend to anyone interested in teaching English to enrol at the TEFL Academy. I finished the course in 4 weeks of full time study with days off in between. My only complaint is that the assignments are a bit vague , other than that this is an excellent course and good value for money.
