The course I completed with The TEFL Academy was the Level 5 TEFL course.

The knowledge I gained from this course has given me the confidence to follow my goal of becoming an English teacher and experience many new cultures while helping students learn this useful language.

The course is well structured and gives an immense amount of resources which help deepen one’s knowledge of teaching English.

Also, the practical part of the course was very enjoyable and made into a great experience by the teacher present. His competence and experience were a great help in understanding one’s role in the position one is in as a teacher.

I took the Level 5 TEFL course (168 hrs). I thoroughly enjoyed all of the elements of the course. Especially the 20 hour weekend inclusion. The tutor was brilliant and made what could have been very long days, exciting and informative. The online work was well set out and easy the understand. I really do recommend taking this course to help you feel prepared for teaching EFL.

I recently completed my TEFL level 5 (168 hours).

I found the online course to be extremely informative, and I especially enjoyed and appreciated the teaching practical provided in the 20hour session.

It was great to learn from someone who has been teaching English as a foreign language overseas.

The course is extremely well structured and allows you to revisit previously completed sections for further review.

I would recommend The TEFL Academy’s level 5 (168hours) course to anyone who wants to teach English as a foreign language.

It really was an interesting and informative course.

Recently completed: Online TEFL Course 168 Hours through the TEFL Academy.

A wonderful experience from start to finish! This is a well structured course, offering extensive resources and interesting lessons. I have come away from this course with a great understanding of lesson types and plans, and how to apply them to different types of students.

The support from the instructors is fantastic, as they are all knowlegable, and easy to talk to.

I completed Level 5 TEFL Course which was 168 hours. The course was very extensive with 11 units spanning a wide range of topics from teaching reading, writing, listening and speaking classes as well as teaching grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. I also a completed an in-person course which was 20 hours (included in the 168 hours). The teacher for this course was very helpful and gave great advice. We were able to freely practice our teaching skills in a comfortable and encouraging environment. The online portion of this course had a lot of exercises and examples in order to help me learn how to practically apply the theory I was learning. The assignments I had to complete were practical and I received great feedback from the staff that marked my work. I feel more than capable of entering a classroom and teaching right away as I have the tools to do so. I can create extensive lesson plans, gather appropriate materials as well as use appropriate vocabulary and content for my future learners. The course covers teaching all ages as well as teaching monolingual and multilingual classes. The online platform is easy to use and every activity and assignment is explained thoroughly. TEFL Academy has a great community of teachers which are supportive and definitely helpful.

I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) online. It worked perfectly for me as I was working full time and needed a course that could be flexible with my work schedule. Being allowed six months to complete the course gave me time to fit studying around my work life.

The course is designed so you can return to completed sections and review previous information – this means as you work through the models you have an excellent bank of knowledge accessible. The site was really easy to navigate, the exercises were intuitive to complete, and instructions were always clear.

There was a great mix of practical knowledge as well as theoretical background – modules covered ideas behind linguistics as well as lesson planning and classroom management.

The assignments were a good level of challenging – they require thought and time to be spent on them, but they are based around the topics you have studied, so you have all the relevant information needed. Personally I was pleased to complete a grammar lesson planning assignment as that was an area I was less confident in – and the feedback was invaluable!

I just completed and have really enjoyed the Level 5 -168 hour

online TEFL course. I am not keen at all on online courses and was surprised how well this one was organised. I would highly recommend this course. I often found the material so interesting that I spent more time studying than planned

The assignments really help to consolidate the learned material. The tutor support is very helpful and high quality.

I had a great experience with The Tefl Academy. I found the course very relevant and concise. The activities in each unit of the online section were very helpful to understand the content being taught. I particularly enjoyed the 20 hours face to face part of the course which I was initially dreading. It was extremely helpful and the teaching practice was good to get a feel for actual teaching. I would highly recommend this course and it’s doable in 4-6 weeks.

I decided to take the TEFL 120 course so that I could travel whilst making a bit of money and doing something worthwhile. I started the course in 1016 and due to ill health have only just finished! The team were really supportive and offered help where needed.

Ithe course was really efficient and I am now thinking about going into teaching full time.

I would gladly recommend the course to friends who are thinking about TEFL.

This is the second TEFL course that I have completed with TEFL Academy. I studied the TEFL level 5 course and last year I completed the TEFL 120-hours course.

The TEFL Level 5 (and this also applies to the other course of 120 hours) is well structured, organised, with plenty of exercises that you can recap what you have learned or practice. The assignments are great to practice everything that you have learned and to have an idea how it is in a real classroom (if you do not have teaching experience).

On this course is also given a lot of resources and further reading sources.

I recommend to complete your TEFL courses with TEFL Academy, it is totally worth it.
