If anyone wants to become a TEFL tutor, then I would highly recommend The TEFL Academy. The lessons are fun, interactive and informative. I would like to recommend the TEFL academy if you want to get a TEFL certificate. The online class is well structured and resourceful and the feedback of the assignments is professional.

For some suggestions is that the job sites and assistance isn’t have too many choices after the class. It still need yourself to find out which one is best for you, but it’s okay that a lot of free resources on YouTube will help:)

Overall, I like the class isn’t traditional class just read the article, but it provides some interaction part between some knowledge checkpoints, really help me to memorize and not get bored.

Thanks the TEFL academy to help me get my TEFL Level 5 certificate:)

This course opened my eyes and mind to learning new things and developing new skills.

I will be able to take all the information I have learnt within these TEFL courses and implement it in my daily life. I am able to do what I love thanks to TEFL courses!

I recently completed a TEFL course and had a generally positive experience, but there are a few areas where I believe improvements could be made.

One of the aspects I appreciated most was the flexibility of the course. The absence of strict time requirements per section allowed me to progress at my own pace, which was particularly helpful given my schedule of being a full time university student. The built-in “Test Your Knowledge” sections and mini-tests throughout the course helped reinforce key concepts and ensured I understood the material before moving on.

However, I would have preferred access to all assignments from the start. Being able to review them in advance would have helped me plan my workload more effectively and make stronger connections between the course content and the assessments. Additionally, while the revised templates made assignments clearer and easier to complete, the initial versions were somewhat confusing and discouraging. A more straightforward structure from the beginning would have been beneficial.

Another area for improvement is the grading system. Receiving only a pass/fail mark for assignments felt limiting; a percentage score would have provided more detailed feedback on my performance. Lastly, a countdown indicating how much time remained until the course expired would have been a useful feature for better time management.

Overall, I would recommend this course to others but advise them to be proactive in organizing their study plan.

First things first, a huge thanks to the TEFL Academy staff for their hard work. There are so many TEFL providers out there, but I’m very glad I chose the TEFL Academy for my studies.

All the lessons are clear, very well-structured, and it’s obvious that a team of professionals worked on them, as the pacing is perfect and the content is easy to understand. Each lesson includes plenty of revision, so you’d have to be extremely distracted to miss the key points.

As for the assignments, they don’t just check your understanding of previous lessons—they also give you the chance to practice essential teaching skills in a safe environment. The student support service is also excellent; responses are quick, and the system is very easy to use.

Overall, I am very happy with this course, the tutors, and the feedback I have received. Thanks again to the whole team!

I find the Level 5 TEFL course really practical and useful to people who wish to pursue a teaching career. The materials are comprehensive and cover all the topics and possible issues the starting teacher might come across. I particularly liked the way the modules were structured with various materials included.

I also find the links and resources extremely useful.

However, I would also welcome more practical examples and tips on what approach to choose for different age groups for teaching general as well as business English – what are typical students’ requirements, standard approach, difference in technique?

Overall, I would like to say that even though I have already been teaching for several years, I found many new and useful tips and a fresh overview of what the contemporary students and teaching requires. The TEFL team and Instructors have always been a great support throughout my studies.

Thanks to the TEFL course, I am excited and more confident about trying to find a teaching job abroad, even as a non-native speaker now. I hope your team is going to be as supportive as ever in my search.

My experience with the TEFL Academy was a great experience overall. The online system was easy to use and follow and all instructions and expectations were made clear from beginning to end.

The subject content was quite rich and all mostly necessary, however there was repetition sometimes within the videos accompanying the lessons, and the actually lesson content. However, all the templates and resources for lesson planning, and lesson preparation were extremely helpful and will definitely be useful in my teaching journey.

Although the assignment feedback was detailed in explaining what was missed, I do wish that an actual figure or percentage would be used to show exactly how much was missed and actually achieved. This is just my personal opinion.

The observed teaching practice was a great addition to the course as it allowed for interaction with a working professional, as well as other students. I did feel that the assessment part of the day did not feel very authentic and it felt a bit too easy. Still, it was a good experience overall.

I found the entire process helpful, useful and thoroughly engaging throughout. Feedback and guidance given was very clear. Trying to turn a new leaf in my life, and stumbled on TEFL Academy and decided to give it a go. I must admit I was sceptical in the beginning as the course is rather economical and online. I have had very little experience in completing something entirely online, so I didn’t know how effective it would be to learn on my own this way. It turned out that the course is so well-structured, scaffolding the materials in a very organised and easy to follow way. In addition, the forum with others sharing their thoughts have helped me at times when I was stuck on finding my own words to answer some questions. However, I am most appreciative of the feedback that was given to our assignments. It really exceeded my expectation to receive such comprehensive and helpful advice through an online course. I am very satisfied with the course and ready to embark on the top-up courses to better equip myself the for the market. Thank you, TEFL Academy. I would recommend anyone who is on the fence of taking a leap in their life to join the course.
