The Tefl Academy has provided me an awesome experience learning more about teaching, preparing me for greater challenges as an educator and finally making me feel more confident as a teacher.

The course content is clean and well planed, teaching practice is interactive as they also provide a quality feedback for students.

Their lesson plan guidance as platform are user-friendly and rich on information.

The instructors who assessed my activities were well prepared and gave me some useful pieces of advices. Facilities and resources were plentiful as well as some job assistance after I finished the course.

In my opinion the course is very straight foward and practical, but maybe there could have been more live interactions with the instructors.

If you are looking for a fast, practical but still thorough TEFL Certificate, Tefl Academy is the one for you!

This course is fantastic for anyone who wants a career in teaching. It’s a good investment and you get all the support you need. One suggestion I will make is that there needs to be a lot more video content, will be beneficial to visual learners, Howe ever this is not a problem. I loved doing the six months of my level 5 tefl and I would definitely recommend others who wish to pursue a career in foreign teaching to get this on your CV if you do want a career in teaching. Thankyou TEFL academy for making my dreams come true, the support is excellent!

I have never taken any TEFL course in the past. Hence, I am not able to make any comparison. However, I found the course quite interesting and very informative. It is not something that you can buy. You have to earn it. You need to have an interest to do the course if you would like to pass. In my opinions, the feedback and grading are subjective to the teachers who look at your work. So, it is hard to get what you want.

I think the native speakers grade the students’ work based on their own experiences and knowledge, which I find a bit unfair, as you can’t put a student at the same level as a native speaker/teacher. But, if you are okay with a “pass grade” than re-sit and repeat the whole thing again, then that is fine.

Overall, I think the course is a good thing to do if you would like to experience teaching in general.

The content of this unit is very logical as well as appropriate for advanced level students. test exercises/activities for students can be added along with more speaking and listening exercise’s. The material is a well-sequenced lesson plan. Overall this unit covers a majority of the checklist. This course book is well structured for advance level students, allowing me to make effective use of the entire course book.

The TEFL Academy could also consider having pre-recorded lessons with a lecturer explaining and highlighting various materials in each section.

I highly recommend the course to anyone interested in teaching English as a second language.
