The level 5 TEFL course was extremely helpful and insightful. It has allowed me to expand my knowledge and abilities within the field of learning and teaching the English language. The course has well equipped me to practice and teach English as a foreign language.

The overall course was very good for my Level 5 certificate experience. It is well structured and designed. The material is easy to understand and there is an abundance of resources and extra materials throughout the course. I received really thorough feedback for all my assignments that helped me understand further where I could improve or what I did well. There is a lot of guidance provided with each of the assignments which makes it easy to pass the assignments. The tutors also provide responses that are really helpful. At the completion of the course, I received my digital certificate copy promptly, and there was a sufficient amount of assisting resources for job applications.

I thoroughly enjoyed doing my TEFL course through The TEFL academy. My friends who have done the course before all recommended using this company for it. I highly recommend it too. The layout and structure is great having slides for each information. There is not too much writing per slide which makes it easy to read and follow.

My only complaint would be that the Assignments are difficult to do in different documents having them spread across. As one document would be a lot easier. Also when feedback is provided they should give all the feedback at once. I had to submit an assignment 4 times as i kept being told to make changes.

Overall it was a great experience and am looking forward to doing some teaching.

All very easy to follow and instructions were always very clear, never had any questions throughout the whole course!

Most of the activities were interesting, but some of them could have been a bit less general and more specific (eg. There were a bit too many “Make a list of things you think that…”).

Evaluation of Assignments were fair and explained well what could be improved, overall very helpful!

I gave the overall rating of this course 5 stars. My experience with studying through The TEFL Academy has been amazing. The course content is thorough and informative. It explains new concepts in a way that is clear and easy to understand. There are plenty of extra resources provided for additional research and information on each topic. The online platform is structured and easy to use. The assignments, as well as the unit activities, give excellent lesson plan guidance and the opportunity to practice planning a lessons. This is greatly beneficial for a teaching career as you’ll need to plan lessons all the time. The assignment instructions are clear with plenty information provided to help you understand what to do and how to do it. The feedback I recieved from tutors on my assignments were really encouraging as they took the time to commend me for what I did correctly and explain where and how I could have improved. This was particularly helpful to me. At the end of the course, you gain access to a list of reliable job portals where you can start applying for prospective jobs. I highly recommend The TEFL Academy to anyone who would like to study to teach English as a foreign language.

The course is amazing with high-quality standards.

It helps you to make your teaching skills clearer and supports your self-working improvement.

What I miss a bit was “live” feedback or the opportunity to have a live chat with a tutor.

Sometimes it would have helped me.

But overall the course is an amazing opportunity to improve your teaching tool kit!

This is the best online school to choose, if you are looking to do a TEFL course. The material is not cluttered but clear to read and understand. My best experience was from the tutor’s, they gave the best feedback during my assignment, that I always knew what was expected from me.
