The course was very informative and I learnt a lot. I enjoyed the activities and liked how interactive it was. The course material was also very well structured and easy to understand. Overall I would recommend this course to family and friends.

I embarked on the TEFL 168 hour course to learn more about teaching, to understand the main aspects of what is expected of me as a teacher in the future and to dive deeper into the technical aspects of the English language and how best to help learners grasp it fully.

This course covered all of those goals and ambitions, and even surpassed it. Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the course was structured and how every unit was succinctly organised. I feel I have learned a lot about teaching methodologies, about how to handle different classes and groups of students and what methods to apply in almost any occasion.

I couldn’t be more satisfied with the course, and I highly recommend it if you want to learn more about teaching and get your certification in the process.

I have really enjoyed the course and feel like I gained a lot of knowledge and understanding that I didn’t have before. I especially enjoyed the classroom management section of the course as I was able to use it in real life situations coaching sport.

The review met all my expectations and as a result I now feel fully prepared to take the next step in my teaching career.

The online platform is accessible to all, simple in use, and easy to follow.

The course content is really informative, the evaluations are challenging but relevant and serve to deepen understanding.

I was able to maintian my work, family, and social life while studying and this was due to the flexible nature of the course.

Highly recommended, if you want to learn how to teach english and open doors then go for it!

Still being college, I didn’t realise how challenging the Tefl course would be to study alongside A-levels. There are 10 in depth modules covering different aspects of the English language ranging from reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar e.t.c. I was offered a month extension upon compassionate grounds due to personal reasons even though there are extensions available which do come with a price. With dedication and effort I was able to successfully complete my level 5 TEFL course in July 2021. The course content was very thorough and comprehensive. Tutors were quick to respond to any queries and gave back valuable and constructive feedback. As I am yet to start University, I feel confident that when I am ready to begin my TEFL career in the future, I am well equipped with the relevant skills and knowledge. The only downside is for anyone wanting an extension, the price is too much to pay especially alongside the overall course fee. Also, only 6 months access to the online course is a major downfall. Being such an extensive course, this time period should be lengthened.

Overall was a good course and I learned a lot. It is a well regarded course for employers. The only problem I have, and it is a huge one, is the time it takes them to correct assignments. Everything is done very slow, and you cant even see or begin the next one until its corrected?? I finished the actual course bit a month ago and have been basically waiting for them to correct assignments 90% of the time since.

Even when I sent them an email begging them to speed it up a bit as I have a job offer in China that needs me there in about 5 weeks and need the cert to apply for a Visa, they still said no they can’t do it.

Extremely frustrating and upset.

Could cost me the job.

Apart from that it’s a good enough course.

I thoroughly enjoyed studying for my Level 5 TEFL with The TEFL Academy. The course was challenging yet explained in such a way to make difficult concepts easy to understand and the in-module interactive quizzes really cemented my knowledge of the topics.

The tutors were helpful and responsive and I feel they do a very good job of explaining what was needed to successfully complete the assignments without just telling you what to do in order to pass.

I was impressed with the high standard of both the tutors and the teaching materials, and I’m now looking forward to beginning my English teaching journey.

I decided to become TEFL qualified during lockdown in the UK, when I realised I was ready for a drastic career change. I spent a long time researching various TEFL providers before deciding on The TEFL Academy, and I definitely made the right decision to study with them.

The course was well structured, split into 10 modules of varying lengths. The modules are interesting and engaging, and each ends in a test to ensure you have assimilated the information you’ll need. There are also interactive quizzes throughout each module, often focusing on some of the trickier aspects of the language.

In addition to the modules there are three assignments that will be made available once you are far enough into the course to have the required knowledge to complete them. These were challenging but the Tutor Support are always on hand to answer any questions you have. The grading is done by experienced teachers, and the feedback they gave on the assignments was in-depth and really useful.

Overall, I’m very pleased I chose The TEFL Academy, and am excited to start my new career in English teaching.

Having been a successful TEFL teacher quite a few years ago, I was keen to start a new career in online teaching. Problem: my qualification was not universally recognised, and my teaching skills were a bit rusty. The TEFL Academy’s Level 5 course came to my rescue, with a wonderfully convenient and user friendly way to upgrade my qualification and get back into the swing of ESL training. The course was very well presented, with stimulating activities and great feedback from tutors. The assignments were a tough challenge, but also very rewarding as they really make you show your mettle and give you confidence in your own abilities. Overall, I was impressed by the professional attitude of everyone I dealt with, from the tech support people to the tutors who provided helpful tips and constructive criticism on my assignments. The TEFL Academy’s Level 5 course has exceeded my expectations and I hope to start teaching again soon.
