Studying with the TEFL Academy was very flexible and interesting. I have learnt many useful skills, particularly the importance of eliciting. The tutors’ feedback on each assignment was very detailed and helped me through my second attempt on an assignment. A lot of guidance was provided.

Since I am going to work in a Kindergarten in China, it would have been useful, if the course had concentrated more on activities and ways to work with children.

Anyway, the TEFL Academy also provided plenty of references and useful links for self study on this matter.

I thoroughly enjoyed completing this course. The course and assignments were challenging yet easy enough to complete online without the need to interact in a classroom.

Studying with the TEFL Academy has been a wonderful experience. I have learnt a lot and have not only become better teacher but a more knowledgeable person. This was a really great course which covered a great range of content. I felt that the information was explained clearly and in good detail. All the tutors responded fairly quickly and were very accomodating towards my needs.

This is a very comprehensive course and covers a lot of the skills required to teach EFL. I was very impressed by the detail contained within the course and the input required to complete the course.

Don’t be fooled! This is not a “walk in the park” it’s demanding and at times tricky but absolutely worth it in terms of the quality learning experience and solid qualification you get when you pass. The support from the help desk admin team was brilliant and tutor feedback was also very good.

After 50+ years of speaking English as a first language I learned a lot about my own language and now feel able to share that knowledge to help others and hopefully earn a living as well!

I would have no hesitation in recommending the Tefl Academy.

Before starting my TEFL qualification I spent a long time researching the best provider and I am so glad that I chose The TEFL Academy!

A lot of courses only require you to complete multiple choice questions to pass whereas The TEFL Academy requires you to complete three coursework assignments, some of which are lesson plans. This really prepares you for teaching compared to multiple choice questions.

At the end I really feel that I have accomplished something and I don’t think I would feel that way with other providers.

The content is very well structured and simple and easy to follow. I feel that all ground was covered sufficiently and that I really learnt something on this course.

This qualification is also accredited by Ofqual/Qualifi so you are receiving a recognised certification which is something really important to look out for when choosing a course!

My experience can be summed up in: smooth sailing and incredible feedback. I have to admit I was skeptical at first when taking the course however it proved me wrong. The content was difficult and challenging at times. It was thorough and very clear and I would expect this type of content from a university. It was really incredible and fun. When I handed in my assignments they were marked quickly and the feedback I received was always encouraging and enlightening which is something I don’t even get from my lecturers at varsity. I would recommend this course hands down over any other! 10/10

This course is very thorough and detailed,it provides a person with the concepts and skills necessary for teaching. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to start a teaching career. It is truly one of it’s kind ,the best online course I have done.

This course is just what you need before embarking on a teaching journey. It learned alot of things . It is worth it and certainly will have long term benefits.

The assignments were challenging but with the help of the tutors you will get through them .

I have a great experience doing the TEFL course. I am a teacher of English in Argentina and currently working in schools. When I heard about this level course I decided to improve my knowledge and skills. What is more I was looking for an international qualitfication since my Argentinian degree was not enough.

As regards the course itself, assigments were clear enough and the course provided me with a lot of guidance on how to carry each task.

The organization is adequate and each unit gives a lot of resources to use in your teaching.

I hope to start my journey as an english teacher around the world soon.
