It was a pleasure to study with The Tefl Academy.

Pros

– Course content logically laid out and topics adequately covered

– Detailed feedback on assignments

– Queries answered quickly via ticket system

– Assignments needed extensive work to consolidate learning

– Practical teaching course was excellent for examples and practice in a friendly

environment

– Modules supplemented with suggestions and links for further exploration of topics

Cons

– Business English not covered. However, there is an additional course to cover this topic

I have studied TEFL level 5 course with TEFL academy. The course contains alot of valuable information, such as how to teach, what should we prepare before we teach, etc. The course is well organised, easy to follow.

I am happy to take this online course, as it allows me to upgrade myself according to my own pace. Short tests are provided for us to check if we understood the topics.

I hope the company can include more samples and instruction given for the graded assignment. This will help new students who aren’t teacher to fully understand what is required in order to pass the assignment.

Overall i really enjoy taking the course with TEFL academy and would definitely recommend it to my friends who is interested to teach.

I highly recommend The TEFL Academy. The course content easy to follow and understand. The website is user friendly both on laptop and mobile. It was easy to learn as I was commuting and pick up where I left of when I switch devices. Tutors are helpful with constructive feedback.

It was an incredible experience. I was able to work at my own pace and The TEFL Academy accommodated me perfectly. The information provided in each unit is practical, useful and accurate. My assignments were marked quickly with excellent feedback for me to improve my next assignment. The instructions were clear and guidance was alway offered. I do wish that more examples were given and shorter assignments instead of three long assignments. Overall, I throughly enjoyed the TEFL Level 5 Course and I would definitely recommend it!

I absolutely enjoyed the online Level 5 TEFL course with the TEFL Academy and had an excellent experience. The course content was so interesting that it exceeded my expectations. I loved the fact I could study at my own pace, wherever and whenever I like. The web page is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. Assignments and honest feedbacks really helped me get prepared for a teaching job. I only wish more help about finding a job was provided (as in how does working abroad work in regards of documents needed etc.) All in all, would definitely recommend!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this course. I’ve learnt alot and understood the difficulties of being a teacher. Would highly recommend anyone who wants to teach English try this course out. You will not regret it.

I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course. It was an in-depth course but easy to follow. There is a lot of information to take in and learn but it was presented well. I think that the time given to complete the course should be longer than 6 months, as with a full time job it is difficult to complete it in this time frame and I had to apply for 2 extensions which cost me extra money. A lot of hard work and time paid off in the end! Overall a very good course with lot of detail and it was challenging!

I thoroughly enjoyed this course, as challenging as it is, it is also rewarding. The TEFL Academy provides assistance and constructive criticism throughout the entire course. I feel that maybe more support should be available for students once they have completed the course with regards to looking for and finding a job abroad. Informing individuals about which documents, which procedures to follow or what to look out for when attempting to find a job abroad.

Overall I really enjoyed the course. It was fun and really enjoyable . I have gained so much knowledge about the English Language and have a great deal of respect for all teachers/ tutors who put in time to plan lessons. The course content was excellent and I enjoyed every English activity that I had to complete in each module of this course. Being an Advanced English speaker you don’t really appreciate the English language as you speak it all the time. But after completing these activities I have new found respect for the language. The quality of feedback was excellent, every question/ query that I had be it assignment based or MCQ based was answered accurately and with positivity which really helped as the assignments and MCQ were very tricky. I was given adequate help when it came to lesson plan guidance however I felt that when I would ask for possible changes that could be made I was told to wait for the person marking my assignment which annoyed me in the beginning but as time went on I realized that they were following their policy and just focused on finishing the course. The instructor was very knowledgeable and really made us feel comfortable when we attended the TEFEL workshop. she had a very vibrant personality and you could see that was well travelled and had adequate knowledge of every country she taught in. The resources provided were excellent and was more than enough to complete and pass the course

I think this course was exactly what I needed in order to learn how to organize my classes better. The information presented in each unit is very useful, practical and accurate. The assignments are challenging and well developed. I think that throughout the course there could be more but shorter assignments instead of three long ones.

I enjoyed this course a lot and would most definitely recommend it!
