While I’ve never taught English, I’ve taught other subjects as a certified instructor in the US Air Force. Based on my experience, the TTA courses I’ve completed were very well designed. They covered a lot more information than I expected and the assignments were actually challenging enough to be sure you understood what the lessons were designed to teach.

All in all I am very pleased with these courses and feel my money was very well spent. I have no trouble recommending TTA to anyone.

I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL course and found it a very well organized course, I thoroughly enjoyed learning new concepts about the English language. The student support is amazing and feedback on assignments is well detailed.

There is simply nothing to be dissatisfied with! I have taken my fair share of online courses through the last couple years and the Level 5 TEFL Course is by far the most complete and easy to manage. The materials presented as well as the feedback for the personal activities are concise and any assistance necessary will be given quickly after requested. With all the support it doesn’t feel like you are working alone.

I chose to do the course wholly online as I already have teaching experience, so my practice teaching rating is for the advice and video links provided in the course.

There are a lot of links provided to additional resources and I had time to follow many of these due to Covid lockdown. These resources were useful in areas where the course content gave an outline or overview of a topic but did not go into great detail. The course material stated that further detail was available.

The website ensures that you have completed a unit and its tests before moving on to the next unit. Although a few questions were simple multiple-choice selections, many questions did ensure you had retained the material covered.

The three assignments each received fair and detailed feedback, in my case always within a week of submission.

In all, for an online course in the practical skill of teaching, it does a good job and makes the role look interesting and enjoyable. The course gives a clear picture of the task, provides a good overview of the field and points you to a lot of free resources.

TheTEFLAcademy is an amazing company, especially for the value of the course. I especially found great value in the assignments and the feedback given. I also liked that they gave real-life accessible website examples that students can continue to use after the course and throughout their teaching journey. The tefl academy is great. Their content is super helpful and informative. I enjoyed every module and love that you can do the courses on your own pace as I am a fast learner.

When you do assignments, they give you helpful and constructive feedback. They put a lot of time and effort into giving helpful feedback.

They grant you access to a job board which has great job opportunities for you.

The course was thorough and helpful. It has equipped me with knowledge that I can see will help in this line of work.

I am still waiting to hear from possible jobs, I think tefl could have been more helpful with the help of finding jobs however it has been very helpful overall.

I didn’t have many expectations for this course as it is an online course on a website I had never heard of. However, the course surprised me in a very positive way! I found the course super interesting and I learned much more than I expected. I recommend 100%.

I cannot praise the Level 5 course enough! I was impressed with the level and amount of material, references and feedback from tutors and support team; the immediate response on tickets and advice given was all priceless! I strongly advise doing all the tests, activities and reflection tasks, they propose, as they all contain invaluable material. My brain works so well after applying myself and overcoming some of my own fears about teaching through the course. Highly professional and student-friendly.
