TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

The course was intense, but really informative, engaging, and a lot of helpful feedback from various instructors. You get concepts broken down, with clear examples from instructors that will be helping you along the way. You get to learn some Czech, unlimited coffee, Wi-Fi, amass of amount of resources, and have a wonderful support group. You get help with jobs not only in Prague, but other cities or countries if desired. I highly recommend it and have enjoyed how much I’ve grown as a teacher from the program.

I took the course in July 2021 and was absolutely thrilled; still believe it was one of my best decisions. The course is demanding and can feel exhausting at times, but it is worth it. The course is very well structured and you get the essential theoretical knowledge as well as enough practice followed by thorough feedback. The trainers are helpful, experienced and always stay focused on the reality of teaching rather than theory.

I attended the August 2022 course knowing that it would be an intensive course which would test my ability to learn and quickly adapt, but what I didn’t consider was how rewarding and practical the course would be. In four weeks, I became friends with the others on the course, and was given support to develop and improve my teaching skills.

This is not an online course, and the course isn’t easy, but it’s obvious that TEFL Worldwide Prague aims to create teachers who are reflective, creative and the best they can be. I now work with a language school, a company and some private students, and the course in August was perfect preparation for this.

The trainers and friendly and approachable, and continue to offer support even after the course has finished. If you choose TEFL worldwide, you won’t regret it.

Overall, I would definitely recommend the course . Course was comprehensive with supportive trainers. But be warn, the course was quite intensive given its short time period. So prepare yourself to do the work non-stop during the entire course.

The course is a month long and can feel really intense, especially if you have just moved to the country. That being said, it is very thorough and leaves you feeling prepared for teaching, plus it is the perfect amount of time to give you lots of teaching practice and to get you ready as soon as possible. The building has plenty of resources at your disposal, and the staff are really friendly and competent. They will answer any questions you have about teaching, and in general give you great advice about living in a new country. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a certificate!

I had a great experience with this program! The opportunity to get feedback while teaching real students was quite valuable to figure out my strengths and weaknesses as a teacher. While it was a lot of work, I very much value the methods and tools I was exposed too. I still use many of the methods I was taught for my lessons now. They have a great library that teachers have access too. They also were valuable in finding jobs. I value most all the different types of instructors with their different teaching methods. They really encourage you to find your voice as a teacher.

I attented the Tefl course in August of 2021. I have been living in Prague working as an English teacher since then. It’s now 2023. I have a job. I have friends. I have a network. And I have TEFL Worldwide to thank for helping me make this move. I was hired by Spevacek right away. I felt prepared to be a teacher. And I had a great time in the course and additionally met people that became my friends during the course. I had a great time, albeit a very hard month. It was difficult but rewarding. I am thankful for the help TEFL worldwide provided.

This is a great course to take! I really enjoyed my experience and Prague!

The course is very intense and can be difficult, but the opportunities you get can help you a lot in the long run.

-You get to teach in-person.

-You get to meet people from around the world

-The trainers, outside of training, are teaching as well. So it’s nice to hear their stories and know that they are truly experienced.

One of my favorite things about the course is the connections you can make during and after. Once you graduate there is a celebration and all the past alumni are invited so you can ask them about life in Prague, teaching, and the adjust from training to real-world.

After participating in the March/April session, I would recommend this course to anyone. Because of how intensive it is, you really feel yourself improving as a teacher throughout the month. The content is really well organized and the instructor feedback is very helpful. I always felt supported when lesson planning and throughout all the teaching practice. I feel like the course would be great for who thinks they might be interested in teaching.

I have completed the January course of 2022. The only thing I regret about this course is that I did not take it earlier. As a language teacher with no prior conventional university pedagogical education (like I was), this is a must for you if you plan to teach languages full time. This course is very intensive and demanding but it is worth every penny. The trainers are very experienced and incredibly helpful and forthcoming and so is the staff. There is always someone there for you with a tip or to guide you through the assignments. The school is equipped with what seems to be every available coursebook currently on the market and you get access to all of them. You get to do regular teaching practice with real students from week 2 and you get feedback on everything you do, which helps you to improve very fast. The course content is to the point, well thought out and by applying the methodology you will improve your lessons to the highest standard. During and after the course the trainers and staff are also very helpful in providing you with tips for possible teaching positions or they even might offer you a teaching position themselves. If you have just arrived in the the Czech Republic, they will also help you with accomodation and connect you with agencies, that will guide you through the visa process.
