TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

I received my TEFL from TEFL World Wide Prague this past year and I found it to be incredibly helpful on my journey to being a competent and capable English teacher. The instructors were very helpful, informative and experienced. There was a teachers room upstairs with textbooks that were quite helpful in planning lessons for our teaching practice assignments. I found the staff to be very friendly, the facilities well equipped and the content high-quality. I highly recommend becoming TEFL certified with TEFL World Wide in the capital city of the Czech Republic!

Tefl Worldwide was an exhausting experience. But that is what you sign up for with a intense 120 course crammed into 1 month. The facilities provided were great, at times almost over whelming. There was maybe a little bit of post covid exhaustion with the staff as they had to get use to teaching in person again. The teaching practice was multiple times a week, with good and effective feedback from your observers. You’ll have to do many reflection writings, but those are staged effectivly to make you actually think about your teaching experience. Over all, the school made me feel prepared to start teaching English. Currently, Czechia has a massive shortage of English teachers; you will find a job after the course if you want to stay.

This is course was amazing and super helpful!!

Over the 4 week period I learnt so much, it is a lot of work but the amount of support that is available is comprised of a group of extremely skilled and understanding trainers.

Doing the course entirely online had its difficulties but they did everything they could to ensure that the course ran as smoothly as possible.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who would like to become an English teacher or just to improve upon the skills they already have.

I left the USA and I came to Prague by myself to do this course. I had worked in Travel but due to covid , we were laid off . I had to learn how to use Zoom and many other computer aspects for the first time. The course is not easy and at times quite challenging but I couldn’t be happier that I have my certificate as an English Language Teacher. A huge thanks to all the mentors and teachers at TEFL.

I couldn’t have done this without you.

I would absolutely recommend TEFL Worldwide!

I had no idea what I was signing up for back in May 2020. All I knew, was that I wanted to move to Prague and learn how to teach English. But this course gave me so much more.

Throughout the four weeks, I was challenged on every level. My knowledge of the English language, my organisational skills and my ability to work under pressure. BUT, I was never alone. I had assistance from the trainers every step of the way. Any question I had, in class or after, I had someone to ask. I had so much support, that Namesti Miru became a place of comfort in a new city, my new base.

Of course, the 4 weeks of TEFL were not all work and no play ! I also made friends for life. My fellow “TEFLers” and I, have supported each other throughout this experience and are now starting our careers as new teachers in this beautiful city. Most of us continue to work with TEFL Worldwide and all of us are still receiving great support while settling into this new life.

If you are thinking of doing a TEFL course in Prague, TEFL Worldwide is the way to go !

I made the right choice!

In TEFL Worldwide I was introduced to a whole new level of teaching. Trainers are experienced and professional yet friendly. Their aim is to grow your knowledge with plenty of tips and give a handful of experience on teaching real Czech students. One thing I would suggest is to change the timings of the course. May be start early and end early but this doesn’t really matter much as people coming from distant places might find the present timings more convenient. TEFL Worldwide Prague is one of the best.

Deciding to take this course with TEFL Worldwide was the best decision I’ve ever made. Not only because I got to learn so much with everybody there but because to me it was a life-changing experience in itself.

Being from such a far away country, a different culture and of course, having certain life goals in mind made it even much more intense for me.

The course is very demanding, there’s a lot of information to take in even if you already have previous experience teaching like I did, but for those of us who have been teaching for a while it can be so refreshing! Seeing different ways to tackle the hardships and details of what it means to teach other people a second language. There’s so much to learn! The trainers are incredibly patient and attentive; the staff is very helpful. I truly felt capable of doing so much more than I though I would, it wasn’t easy but the best things out there are not.

It was worth every minute, I truly felt as if I could come to them with any doubts at any time. Now I do feel prepared to go out there and put everything I learned into practice, that’s how happy and satisfied I feel with the course.

If you’re not afraid to work hard and challenge yourself, you can trust that this is worth it.

I took the 4 week training at TEFL Worldwide Prague in January/February 2020. It was very intensive, but if you are prepared to give it 100%, you’ll be rewarded with confidence and a general feeling of being ready to teach English to anyone. You get a lot of practical experience, teaching 2 lessons every week, giving you a chance to implement what you’ve learned and improve with every lesson.

The trainers are there to answer your questions and support you with lesson planning, so you grow more confident every day. There is great support from everyone on the team. You get fully submerged in the teaching culture. It’s an amazing experience.

If you hope to visit Czech Republic while you are taking the course, be aware that you will not have that much time for it. Even your weekends might be taken up by lesson planning and working on your assignments, but, believe me, it’s worth it.

I graduated from this program a few years ago and ended up teaching in both Taiwan and Japan for nearly 4 years afterwards. The course was rigorous and comprehensive with skilled instructors and valuable feedback. When I started teaching in Asia I was surprised to find that many teachers didn’t have a TEFL certificate, so I was a step ahead of my peers, and often got more pay because of my certification. The skills I learned in this course helped me confidently navigate the ESL world and become a skilled and professional teacher in an invaluable way. In addition to this course being amazing, it’s taught in the majestic and magical setting of Prague with all the trappings of a fairytale land! I highly recommend this program!
