TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

If you come to this course expecting to sit back and passively earn a certificate, then perhaps you should reconsider. Every moment is informational, engaging, and very useful. Don’t expect to be praised just for showing up and doing the bare minimum. It is intense and you have to keep on top of everything. That said, it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Yes, the content and work load are challenging, but the staff and instructors are there to help you at every turn, and are very happy to do so. They will give you honest and meaningful feedback, but for anyone who is learning something new, it’s exactly what you need to hear to improve yourself. Furthermore, the office staff are very accommodating and are on top of everything from housing to finding a good place to eat in Prague. A very rewarding experience, indeed!

Brilliant TEFL course. I just graduated and I can’t wait to start teaching. The staff are super organised and Cheryl and Chelisa were fantastic and happy to answer all of my questions even before I arrived in Prague. The course is intense so be prepared for that, and definitely do the recommended reading and go over some grammar before you start as this will really help you. Kenny is such an amazing teacher and I learned so much and I feel very prepared to teach English. During the course, all the staff were so friendly and happy to help with anything.

TEFL Worldwide Prague is the perfect launchpad for aspiring teachers to begin their journey abroad. I had the privilege to study under their expert tutelage. As a recent graduate, I can say they are remarkable people and better trainers. They provided an abundant amount of resources and knowledge. My road to graduation wasn’t shiny. I had times of self doubt and reflection. However, with their constructive critique and reassurance; I successfully completed my mission. The reoccurring theme you will come across with reviews is “Lots of work. But Doable.” That’s the reality. They’re approach is simple. Get their trainees in front of real students. That’s what sets them apart from other programs I researched. I’m internally grateful for the guidance they provided me.

I’ve got nothing but good things to say about this program. I picked it because the reviews were so good, and it didn’t disappoint one bit. Kenny is an outrageously experienced and helpful teacher, I felt confident he’d be able to answer any questions I threw his way. The staff is really cool and helpful, the environment is really fun and I left the course feeling very comfortable and confident in my abilities to teach English as a second language. At TEFL course you’ll meet not only tough schedule and wealth of useful information but also incredible and supportive professionals, that deliver the course, as well as new friends. Furthermore, it’s a great chance for non-native speakers to pick up a variety of English accents at once since people come here all over the world. This is a wonderful program for learning to teach English. It’s more expensive than taking an online TEFL course but it’s much more valuable. You actually plan and teach lessons to Czech students. Having the teacher trainers monitor you’re lessons and give you feedback on your teaching and lesson plans makes this course well worth the money. Everyone is very encouraging here and I quickly gained the confidence to stand up in front of a class and teach. I’d recommend this course to anyone interested in getting into teaching English as a second language.

I absolutely enjoyed this course. It was very intense and sometimes a bit stressful, but definitely worth it! The trainers (especially Kenny) were very helpful and always there when needed. Also the rest of the staff was wonderful. I met some wonderful people at this course, and I definitely learned a lot! Thank you for one of the best experiences of my life!

This is a comprehensive, fast-paced program which will enable you to begin teaching with confidence after 120 hours. The directors’, Kenny and Cheryl, are extremely professional and make time to ensure that you have the tools, resources, and feedback to teach ESL at various levels. You will be in front of a class teaching within the first three days and you will receive ample instructor and peer feedback to see immediate improvement. It is a cohort model which encourages teamwork and interaction among the students which are typically a nice blend of ages, backgrounds, and nationalities. Prague is an affordable, culturally/historically significant city in which to launch your journey. I cannot recommend this course, the staff, and the career services more highly.

These people know their stuff and they care about the students. The course is thorough, intense and effective. One thing that stuck out for me was the transparency and generosity with information and guidance before, during and even after the course. If you’re serious about teaching English as a foreign language and if you’re willing to put in the work, I highly recommend this course!
