TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

An intense course that’s not for the faint of heart, but is ideal if you want to learn teaching fast, because believe me, you will learn a lot, quickly! If you’re new to teaching, it can be really scary, but the trainers here will provide you with detailed feedback and a friendly environment to help with that 😉 (as a sidenote, the trainers are also very queer friendly).

But sometimes, during the lesson planning phase, you might have one trainer approve of a part of your plan and the next day, a different one will criticize for it.

Admittedly the students you will be teaching can be a bit unreliable, but if anything, that will prepare you for real life.

You will also be told about how to find a job in real life (and might even be offered one based on your score), but the ways the lessons you will be teaching are structured might not necessarily reflect how teaching goes in real life.

I recently completed the TEFL Worldwide Prague course in January, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported by the incredible trainers, staff, and fellow students.

The trainers were exceptional—knowledgeable, experienced, and genuinely passionate about teaching. They provided thorough instruction and valuable feedback, ensuring that we were well-prepared for the classroom. An absolutely fantastic course, intense but worthwhile, I went from not knowing a thing to confidently teaching a full schedule in a matter of weeks, and felt supported by instructors, fellow trainees and course alumni through it all.

Overall, my experience at TEFL worldwide prague was incredibly pleasant.

The instructions were very friendly, approachable, and always available when needed.

The course was fast, but the content didn’t feel forced or stressful. All the work was manageable and very insightful, I definitely learnt a lot and owe a lot of my current teaching practices to TEFL worldwide.

If you’re considering the idea of taking part in TEFL worldwide Prague, I would 100% consider applying as the experience you will have will be unforgettable. 🙂

I was a part of the December 2023 group, and it was a great experience. I wanted to improve my skills as a teacher, and TEFL Worldwide was a direct cause for my improvement. I’ve been teaching privately since I’ve graduated, and it has been lovely. The instructors are engaging and friendly, the content of the course is dense and intensive which allows you to learn a lot in just four weeks, and you walk out of there a new person with a whole new community to be a part of. If you’re thinking of a TEFL course, this is the one!

This was a great course to attend! It is very intense but rewarding. I enjoyed the challenges and achievements it has given me. I graduated two years ago and still use the skills I learned there today in my classroom.

My graduating class in July 2023 was the best one to be a part of!! I had an amazing group of classmates and instructors that supported me throughout the month-long course. Very thankful for the learning experience I gained from TEFL worldwide!

This course is worth taking, it is hard and time consuming course, which covers a large spectrum of topics, it provides practice, teaching on actual students, which I loved. The instructors were very supportive and helpful and most of their feedbacks were truly helpful.

Despite it being so hard, I had fun and actually found an amazing group of people too.

This course exceeded my expectations and I had the most amazing time studying here. The school and the staff are so helpful and supportive. They give you all the tools and skills you need to succeed as an English teacher. During my 4 weeks doing this course, I had so much fun, gained so much knowledge and made life long friends. I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. If you want to teach English as a second language, this school should be your top choice!
