Simon was a fantastic teacher who managed to gauge the audience well and provide excellent quality instructions and feedback in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Simon as a tutor made the experience of Tefl methodology enjoyable and understanding as this is not easy to put into practice.Simon had an engaging and motivating way of transmitting the structure of the methodology. I would like to add that if it wasn’t for his way of teaching and helping,I don’t think I would have had a full understanding. Thank you very much.

Charlei was a great tutor. She came across as very knowledgeable and gave postive and constructive feedback.

Presenting the lesson plans that we had put together to the other students on the course lent an air of authenticity.

As I have never previously taught online, I found this course to be a vital addition to my previous TEFL qualifications . I recommend! Students perhaps need to be made aware that they will need to set time aside after the lessons on day 1 and 2 to create a practical presentation.

My rating is based on a 20h course, about which I’m aware that time constraints are at play here.

Simon was a very helpful, insightful, nice and understanding instructor. He was able to give us an idea of what to expect, once we finish the course if we chose to pursue a career in teaching, and gave us tips concerning several possible situations we might encounter. He always tried to find a solution when we (those who were using iPads) had some logistics problems. It all went well in the end.

Regarding the course content, I think it’s appropriate for the available time. The lessons were well planned and organized. He communicates well and was able to transmit the course information in an organized manner. Once I finished the course, I was glad I purchased a package where it was included.

I attended the virtual classroom course with Charlei, who was absolutely brilliant as our course tutor. Despite the course being fully online, she made sure it was very fun, interactive and engaging throughout. She created a relaxed and friendly environment right from the get-go and by the end of the course it felt like all the participants had known each other for a long time! Charlei was also very helpful and informative when it came to giving feedback on our presentations, as well as providing tips and resources for looking for jobs abroad. I learnt so much within a short space of time and I feel confident in implementing my gained knowledge into my future TEFL career. I can 100% say that this has been one of the best learning experiences I have ever had!

In addition, my tutor for all other parts of the online course, Steve, was extremely helpful in answering all of my grammar and methodology questions. He always marked my assignments promptly and gave very insightful feedback that I will no doubt be able to use when I eventually teach abroad. Thank you Charlei and Steve!

I I believe the 3 “live online using Zoom” sessions at the end of the course were extremely well taught by Arthur – with excellent patience and all delivered in a wholly competent, relaxed style and very positive manner.

The bulk of the non-live course was good – if a little dated in some elements of the content.

So overall, I would characterise the course as very good.

Simon was a great teacher and the lesson plans he taught us were great. I would have liked a bit more feedback on how the lessons we put together were and whether he thought we would be competent to teach online etc. Really good weekend- thanks

Clear necessary info. for the tasks.

Felt very supported knowing I could email the tutor with any problems. Plenty of helpful feedback.

My experience with TEFL.org has been a thoroughly positive one throughout. The tutorial feedback and guidance has been first-rate in all aspects. For instance, my personal tutor for the Level-5 TEFL teaching course, Thomas, never failed to suggest useful resources to use to extend and improve beyond simply passing the assignment, so I feel that I have been signposted toward extending and improving rather than just settling for getting over the line on an assignment When you know that the person who is doing that signposting is a professional teacher in the field, it crosses into the realm of the coaching of a new colleague as well as the teaching of a student.

The Online course was relevant to this emerging and important facet of TEFL teaching. I’m very pleased that I scheduled to end my training with the Online Practicum, as it was a chance to combine everything together under the expert eye of the superb tutor, Simon, whose friendly, helpful and valuable guidance I shall take with me throughout my future TEFL teaching career.

I am so pleased to have chosen TEFL.org for training. It is clear why they are so very highly respected.
