Antony did an excellent job even with the limitations of doing it over Zoom. Very happy to have had him as a tutor.

Hi there ! I had my training with prof. Simon ! He was really nice . I liked a lot the way he organised the class . It had a lot of activities and we were all involved.

It was a good example for us in the future ! 😊

The whole weekend moved with a fluidity that I did not expect as Simon was the perfect mixture of fun and professional. This really helped the long days manage to be both educational and enjoyable. He was a very good example of a teacher, one that I would try to embody in my own teaching.

I had a brilliant 3 days while completing the classroom tefl course. Only four turned up so our days were thorough and intimate. Our teacher, Liz was absolutely amazing and definitely an inspiration. Super interesting days and felt like I learned a lot. Thank you so much!

I really enjoyed the structure of the course. All of the practical elements meant that we were given first-hand experience of the teaching practices that we would put into place in a real teaching situation. I feel that this was far more valuable than just being told about the theory behind them.

Simon was a very knowledgable tutor and his presence and method of teaching seemed to really put some of the more nervous members of the group at ease. On a personal level, I found myself wanting to participate in group activities more than I normally would, which I put down to his teaching method inspiring more confidence in my own abilities. I can’t really ask for much more in a tutor, so thank you Simon!

A great experience. The course gave me everything I hoped for and more. I enjoyed the interactive teaching and learning and the practice lessons and group work. Simon shared his vast us experiences as a TEFL trainer and made the course fun and enjoyable.

The airconditioning was a bit too fierce and the refreshments very sugary. These are my only two complaints.

Excellent course, all very useful, interesting and relevant. Meryl did a brilliant job of teaching us to teach. Her short session using just Welsh showed us how it would feel from a learners’ perspective as well as how easily possible it could be. Many thanks.

The course was fun and engaging but very intense.

A condensed course as a week-end course, lead by a great and enthusiastic tutor. Emma was engaging, supportive and fun from the word go, never a dull moment. she kept the pace going and was great at directing and teaching us. There was a lot to cover, I am still distilling it and will for a while, but as part as my 100 online course, it was a great experience, the group was small and gelled very well. overall well done Emma for keeping us on our toes and teaching us. All the very best Cat.

From the minute the tutor Emma entered the room, I was hooked! She was an engaging and knowledgeable teacher who managed our class and the work load with ease – even late on the Saturday night when we all started to get a bit crazy!

It is an intense course but such a fun one. I was pushed way out of my comfort zone in a very friendly and supportive way and I learnt a lot about a variety of different things.

The venue changed from the one originally booked and this was communicated to us in a timely fashion. If I could say one slightly negative thing – it would be that the facilities at the hotel (the location of the toilets for example – on the floor below the conference room) and the fairly uncomfortable seats (no table to lean on and write notes) was a bit disappointing. And given the cost of the course, we all thought that perhaps lunch and a snack or two thrown in might have been nice!

Having said that – I would have no hesitation in recommending the 20 hour weekend TEFL course to anyone and I look forward to completing the online course.
