I researched for quite some time which online TEFL course would be best, and I can say without hesitation that choosing myTEFL was the best decision I could have ever made. The content was easy to follow and well organized. I loved that it was at my own pace, so I could choose if I wanted to study one day or not. The tests, that are taken after nearly every lesson, were sneaky difficult and challenging, which is good because it actually required that I learn the information presented. This course will help me so much in my transition to teaching ESL overseas.

The course itself was only the beginning, though. The support provided afterwards in regards to finding a job was amazing. They were so quick to help to get my TEFL certificate authenticated after I received a job. They handled everything throughout the whole process with the upmost class and professionalism.

Without a doubt, I believe that myTEFL is the leader in this market. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to expand their English teaching knowledge and especially for those who are ready to work abroad.

myTEFL was a great experience and was super easy to follow. The material was well organized and intelligently written. With a very straight-forward plan in addition to the job assistance portion, I would totally recommend myTEFL to anyone interested in pursuing this certificate.

I just finished the 120-hour online certification course with myTEFL. The course was well organized and easy to understand. Each unit was followed by a short test. The units were short enough that I could fit the course into my busy schedule, without having to set aside large blocks of time for studying. I also found the myTEFL course to be very interesting. I’ve worked as a writer and editor, but learned plenty of things about my mother tongue! The staff at myTEFL has promptly answered my emails.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to this academy. I was very frightened going into it because I was unsure of my ability to take the course because of my busy schedule, but it is completely self-paced and it was an amazing experience. Even though English is my native language, I was able to brush up on things I already knew, learn new things about my own language, and I was also able to learn what it means to be a good teacher. This school has it all; the resources are there, it’s affordable, and the staff is there to help you with whatever you may need at any given time. I especially like the fact that there is free job advice after graduation, for ever! Thank you guys so much for helping me on my journey.

When searching for a TEFL course to take, it took a while to find one that was not only of high quality but also within a good budget. Having just recently graduated, I was not able to pay for in-class options, but I am very happy to have found this instead.

MyTEFL does a great job at introducing topics and giving tips for future teachers. They use clear and direct language, along with diagrams and examples. They also provide a lot of extra resources you can use for reference when taking the lessons into practice.

All in all it was a great experience, and it was nice being able to complete the course within my own time.

I taught my niece english for a while, but more and more confused. I took this course and it helped me develop more effective lesson plans. I recommend this course to anyone interested in teach english as a second language.

I received my 120-hour TEFL certificate through this site, and they were brilliant every step of the way. An easily navigated site meant that I could access all the information I needed before starting the course, and then I received a very generous discount after simply proving I was already in full-time education.

The course was self-paced, which was perfect to work around my already busy schedule; the only restriction for the course was that it had to be completed within 3 months. It had mini quizzes between each section to reiterate the information and to check it was absorbed, which made it easy to see where my weaknesses were, and the numerical grading system helped me keep track of where I was in the course. One of the only negatives was that it got a little repetitive towards the end, but that could be taken as a positive as it just meant I was now familiar with the course content.

When I had any questions, the company replied rapidly, normally within 5 minutes, and all the staff I interacted with were helpful and kind .

I would recommend this course and this company to anyone that wants to gain a TEFL qualification online.

I am an early childhood teacher with an existing ESL endorsement, but it had been a few years since I’d formally reviewed the content of teaching language learners. I completed the 120 hour course recently and it was a great review for me!

I liked the self-guided pacing, the immediate feedback from the quizzes, and the structure of the course. I think that even for an experienced teacher who has worked with ELL students before, you can learn some new things. I had certainly never studied the phonemic alphabet!

The cost made it very affordable for an endorsement that will be valuable as I continue teaching in the USA and abroad.

Hiya 🙂

Overall I am highly satisfied with the mytefl certificate programs because it offers several programs, valuable resources, and most importantly, at an extremely reasonable price! I decided to enroll in the Master TEFL expert teacher which is a 120 hour online course partly because a majority of teaching positions overseas requires between 100 and 120 hours of teaching so it is more beneficial to complete the higher requirement anyway.

I have to admit, at first I wasn’t sure if this was a legit website that is accredited universally because the cost of the programs were exceptionally lower than the other tefl and tesol certificate programs. In addition, a portion of this fee was also donated to Little Footprints Big Steps Child Protection Organization which I also really liked because the company isn’t solely focusing on the business profit aspect, but shows that they care about helping others. Anyway, this program is also helpful because they offer resources to help with job placements. Currently, I am in the process of applying to teaching English programs in South Korea and Japan aside from myTEFL job placements and this certificate has been accepted by most.

Since I graduated with my bachelors in Linguistics and I have experience tutoring and teaching EFL students already, the content in this course basically covered a lot of material that I learned over the past four years. So it is extremely helpful for people who do not have any background experiences as well, in addition to refreshing and keeping others with current information on how to improve their teaching.

I understand that I chose the online route, however, one suggestion that could be more beneficial in this program is if it included some sort of sample video that can demonstrate on how to apply the aspects and content that we learned throughout the course.

I would highly recommend choosing this mytefl program if you considering getting a certificate because the interface is extremely easy to navigate and you will not be disappointed at all!

I’ve just received MyTEFL 120 hour certificate and I couldn’t be happier about it. The reason for me to take the course was searching for ESL teaching positions outside my home country, where I’ve been working for 5 years.

Having worked at two universities and various language schools I consider myself an experienced teacher, but despite that I thoroughly enjoyed the course and was never dissapointed or bored. MyTEFL certificate program has up-to-date content with authentic examples that I could really relate to, and it’s structured very well so it doesn’t take too much time to complete it, which I think is a major advantage considering our fast-paced life.

If I were to add something to the course it would probably be some video examples or animated presentations, but taking into account its overall high quality and affordability I just can’t ask for more.

I strongly recommend taking MyTEFl to everyone who wants to start their ESL teaching career or to refresh their knowledge.
