The coursework was well explained and written. After every section I had a chance to practice my knowledge with a quiz. I loved how I could work at my own pace. Great course and I look forward to using the certification.

I took this course to keep myself occupied during quarantine and to expand my opportunities for travel once the pandemic subsides. I was impressed with how thorough and detailed the course is. I learned many strategies for teaching to different ages and cultures, even with discipline problems, language barriers, and cultural differences. The course offered many sample activities and lessons which will come in handy when I plan my own curriculums.

This course worked well for me in part because I am a visual-auditory learner who learns best from reading new material and taking notes. This course, because it is entirely text-based and online, may be a bit more difficult for kinesthetic learners.

In addition, I was able to finish this course within my allotted 3 months, but I had to cut it quite close. There is a lot to learn from myTEFL and some students might appreciate more than 3 months in which to learn.

I have yet to make use of the myTEFL job assistance, which is the only reason I marked that category as “not applicable.” I’m sure will come in handy when I start looking for jobs.

I was in search of a course that would work at my pace and schedule. I did my research and mytefl was at the top of the list as one of the best tefl courses. I just recently finished the 120 hour course and I agree. I highly recommend this course not only because it is the best but also works on your own time and schedule. This course offers so many resources to help and guide you through the course. Not only does it provide sample lessons which is great help in guiding for future teaching but it also provides cultural teaching. A part from that there is also help with your CV and cover letter. Mytefl provides resources for their graduates in helping them succeed.

Going into this course I had no idea how I could incorporate the English I have used my whole life into teaching it to others. myTefl provides all the resources needed to truly understand the methodology and efficiency in learning how to teach English as a foreign language. It’s module/quiz system allows you to go at your own pace and truly set the standard for how you will be looking to build lesson plans and activities. Overall I’m very glad I went with myTefl based on all the previous countless great reviews that I had read about them!

I am extremely happy with this course and highly recommend it. I am an ESL teacher and am always searching for useful ways to help my students improve their English proficiency. This course is comprehensive, thorough, and very well-written. It is broken down into appropriate sections according to the various parts of English speech and provides wonderful ideas for activities during lessons, homework, tests, and more! I believe this course is an excellent choice for anyone seeking to break into the EFL industry as well as current teachers who want to improve their techniques and “brush up” on some of the more difficult aspects of English. All in all, I am very satisfied!

I don’t have a degree, so I can’t comment on the job placement resources, but everything else was amazing. The course was very comprehensive and informative, and i feel confident that I’ve been given the tools to teach classes around the world one day! Highly recommend

I choose the myTEFL to get my teaching certificate because I wanted a program that would allow me to be able to work online, and at my own pace. I was able to get direct and clear answers to the questions I had before I made any financial commitment. The content in the course gives an overview on all that you can learn about the responsibilities of teaching english abroad aside from being in the classroom directly. It even covers aspects of the position that I didn’t consider. When going through the content it’s clear and concise to understand what the main concepts are so you can do well on the quizzes. The quizzes themselves also come in a variety of formats based on what the last subject covered.

This course was exactly what I needed to get my new career off the ground. I am a retired teacher with a Master’s degree, who decided to get back into teaching again with a bit of an adventuresome flair!

This course has loads of resources to add to my files, relevant content, is highly recognized throughout the world, and offers job placement opportunities and assistance! So what more could you ask for?!

Overall I had an easy time completing the certification course and really enjoyed learning about the different aspects of teaching. It was straight forward and flexible with my time. I am excited to put my certificate into action.

This 120 hour TEFL course was really great, allowing me to review my existing English grammar knowledge, etc. and discussing additional things like teaching plans and the curriculum. The notes and extra materials were extremely useful during the course, and I will continue using those. There is plenty of support during your course and you are encouraged to ask questions.

If you are staying at home during COVID, you will be able to complete the course in just a couple of weeks. It’s the perfect chance to gain another qualification and try teaching English as a foreign language. Rather than having to find your own internship or job, they help successful graduates find one. There’s a variety of countries that you could go to. I’m happy that I went through with this course, it’s a solid choice.
