Very happy to have found mytefl.com. Great project to accomplish during quarantine and invest in my future at the same time. The modules are well planned and easy to navigate (though I wish there was a ‘back’ button because sometimes I wanted to change my answers in the quiz section!) The supplemental information is abundant and customer service top notch. I’d highly recommend this course.

I give it all five stars because you learn a lot and it was a awesome course to take. I would recommend if someone like yourself would love to teach english its best. It covers so much and they help you along the way. And they give enough information and the quizzes were so easy. TEFL course was a lot of work, but you learn a lot and it a nice program to teach and help others learn English. So yes take this course its so worth it.

The course had great content and it was very informative. I really appreciated the clean and simple format because it made everything easy to read. The way they provided the information wasn’t overwhelming while still being able to give a great amount of detail. A friend of mine is currently taking an internship for education and she emphasized the importance of lesson plans and so going through this course I do wish it gave us more information and examples of different lesson plans, maybe even have some sort of practice activity we can submit and have reviewed. I think getting feedback would make the activity feel less intimidating and give us a better understanding of what to do because we would have the practice as our experience. But overall, I would definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to build the foundation for becoming a TEFL teacher.

I just finished the 120-hour myTEFL course and it exceeded my expectations for an online course! I’ve been out of college over 30 years and much appreciated the structure: short chapters followed by short quizzes; the ability to go back and re-read sections before finishing each quiz; and, no huge comprehensive exam. I remembered a lot, and learned new things, too. This information should prove very helpful. I intend to download and print most of the resources into a binder that I can take with me into the classroom. I highly recommend myTEFL!

Choosing which TEFL course to take was a big decision, and I ended up choosing myTEFL because of the quality and quantity of reviews I found, and because the price made much more sense than those that cost substantially more (who wants to spend $500+??). I was not disappointed with my decision, and neither will you!

The platform is very easy to navigate, and the lessons are broken down in a way that makes so much sense. This course not only gives a refresher of English language components, but also has helpful lessons regarding managing a classroom, body language, etc. As someone that doesn’t have any prior teaching experience, this course helped me feel more confident. There are many assessments throughout the course to make sure you grasped the previous material, but if you have any problems, customer support is always available.

I had a few questions about the material and how to find a virtual job, and each time I pressed the “chat” button, there was always another human on the other end, which made a huge difference for my experience!

A few days ago I received an email that my donation through my enrollment went to the Little Footprints Big Steps Child Protection Organization – their Giving Back Program has an impact on other communities, and they are able to do so while charging a very fair price.

I gave “Practice Teaching” 4/5 stars because there was no physical practice in the sense that I didn’t present to anyone or create my own lesson plans, but their lessons on HOW to teach had great information.

Having just finished the 120-course a couple of days ago (and letting all that comes with that sink in), I have to say I am very impressed with the MyTEFL program. When I originally began looking to get a TEFL certification, I had thought I would eventually choose a more expensive, in-person route. But then, COVID happened and, well, I don’t need to tell you that those plans went out the window––fast.

The primary reasons I chose MyTEFL are because of the price (seriously, it’s a wonderful bargain for what you’re getting in return AND part of your fee is contributed to a charitable cause) and the reviews. On almost every teach abroad site I looked, people raved about how streamlined and accommodating-to-busy schedules MyTefl is (and that’s something I definitely needed). What I wasn’t expecting with all those savings and convenience, however, was the depth of the course itself. Seriously, the guides and tips for how to make the classroom an ENJOYABLE and EQUITABLE space for students who might feel intimidated in an immersive class (something I think about a lot) are phenomenal. I really appreciate that My TEFL took the time to address this because––at least from my teaching end––helping students feel welcomed and appreciated in class is the foundation for everything that follows.

Really glad I did this.

I recently completed my 120hr course with MyTEFL and it was an amazing experience. I’m happy I chose this course because it is flexible and I was able to complete it at my own pace. The entire course was straightforward and interactive. I would definitely recommend MyTEFL to others who are interested in teaching English abroad. (I got a 30% discount by using a referral)

This is a wonderful course if you are looking for an affordable online option that covers what you need to know. I especially loved the explanations in the grammar section.

I absolutely loved TEFL. It was a great experience to be able to learn my native language over as well as be able to have helpful ways to teach it to others . I’m excited for what this experience has in store me and my future . I recommend it to anyone who wants to teach english in a foreign country with a certificate under their belt.

I just finished my 120hr comprehensive course work with myTEFL. It has been a great experience learning and engaging with the program. Knowing that the course I took was online and thinking it could be a bit of work due to my Master’s degree program I took. However, the entire contents were easy to read, very informative, and engaging. Also, gave enough examples and applicable ideas to help and improve further teaching method(es). I would totally recommend this to anyone who wishes to have something under their belt along with the courier path they choose or one can be a professional EFL teacher. I work fulltime as director of a non-profit organization and have four wonderful daughters. If I can obtain the TEFL certificate with the help of myTEFL course than you all can!! A big thanks to myTEFL!! Note that if you are not a person(s) that is self-motivated or disciplined, I would not recommend online course but if you are up for the challenge of taking on the online course. I can guarantee that it is worth doing it!
