I have cancelled by course with 14days of enrolling which they claim to be the cooling time and my course is still not cancelled and I got debited

My name has been misspelled on the TEFL certificate, although I received all my e-mails with the correct spelling. I have applied to customer services, and they said that they would be in touch. However, I have been waiting for a response for a week, and there is still no update. I am quite disappointed by the service.

I am incredibly disappointed with i-to-i’s after-sales service.

Despite reaching out to their customer support numerous times via email, I have not received a single response. To make matters worse, my attempts to contact them by phone have been met with endless ringing and no answer. It is deeply frustrating to experience such a lack of communication and support.

What adds to my dismay is that the course advisor seemed to vanish into thin air after I paid the full amount. This entire situation feels like a scam!

Do not use this platform. Their business practices are exploitative.

Not only do they charge some of the highest once-off fees but they also limit full access to the course so that you end up having to pay exorbitant extension fees and take unreasonable timeframes to mark assignments so it results in the same exploitative outcome. They are also unresponsive when attempting to resolve issues and inaccuracies with their platform and system. Their full terms and conditions are also not clearly brought to a consumer’s attention before purchase of the course.

Save your money and effort and use another platform.

Before enrolling for the Level 5 course, I was assured that i-to-i’s recruiters currently have more than 1000 jobs in their data base. This creates the impression that i-to-i will assist you with finding a job – as they have recruiters and finding a job will be a given…….

I enjoyed the course, although I found it very disappointing that the course content contains many language errors, missing information, unreachable links, etc.

On completion of my course, I enquired about the process of finding a job and was sent links and advised that I need to register my profile and apply for jobs myself. There is absolutely no assistance from i-to-i with regard to finding an online teaching job. All the links supplied by them are also available online via Google.

Furthermore, many of the companies contained in the links, supplied by i-to-i, do not employ South Africans.

I also found the assistance from i-to-i staff during the course to be slow and minimal. It appears that they are more focused on marketing and the amount of SPAM emails is rather annoying.

They continually offer international internships (which you have to pay for) course upgrades and even course enrollment – despite the fact that I had already enrolled for the course!!

Please do intensive research prior to booking your TEFL course, or better still, try to secure a job prior to booking the TEFL course.

After doing my 300-Hour course with i-to-i I enquired about further opportunities for courses on which I received a recommendation for an additional 30-day course.

I finished the course and was asked to re-submit my assignment with certain areas for improvement. I was unable to submit it due to the course expiring and had to wait a few months to take another 10-day extension at which point my assignment was again submitted with the necessary changes made.

After submitting I then received feedback that another 10+ points needs to be amended and I only have 1 day to do it.

The academic advisor told me that the standards according to which the first assignment was marked were incorrect, so these changes need to be made to achieve the “NEW STANDARDS”?

This is a money-making scheme with different standards.

I have recommended i-to-i to many people before but will definitely not do this again.

This is a shout out to Justina at i-to-i Tefl. She is absolutely amazing and supportive. Always going beyond the extra mile assist. She is friendly, bubbly and warm hearted. Very intelligent. She deserves to get promoted!

The worst TEFL platform ever. I am a cum laude qualified teacher for 25 years but only to fail this 120 hour course is baffling .My advice is don’t register with i to i…they are after making lots of money.To think l wasted more than R3000 for nothing.They are not flexible in lesson planning and teaching styles.An example of robot teaching.lm highly disappointed. Marking of lesson planning and assignments is rushed.What a waste.DO NOT REGISTER WITH i-to-i guys.They just chow your money with useless additional purchase of time for course completion.Find free courses.My heart is bleeding.

I looked at quite a few of these online courses and ended up choosing

I-to-I not just because a friend recommended it but mainly due to my experience as a graphic designer. That may seem odd but good design tells a story and it’s clear that I-to-I as opposed to many of their competitors spent a great deal of time and effort on their website which gave me reason to think they where the better choice.

I just finished the course a few days ago and I’m quite pleased with the 300hr, it had a lot of useful information, good advice and references plus for something online was decently challenging.

The customer was on point throughout even during the Christmas holidays so no complaints there.

Overall I think this course is very worth the coin for it considering its potential yield and range.

A friend of mine has been teaching English in Vietnam for the last 5 years, mayhaps I’ll join him…

I purchased the degree course for TEFL. There is no follow through as to what you must do after your 3rd assignment, All the way through the Units it tells you that you are X% done with the course and after the 3rd assignment it says Congratulations you are 100% completed. The fact that you aren’t completed is hidden somewhere in then access in which you are given.

Then I was told I need to BUY extra time to ACTUALLY be 100% completed, those mails came through every day.

When I questioned this and asked what was happening then it is apparent that the emails don’t work as quickly as the daily spam emails.

Then there are the daily spam emails trying to sell you extra things from booklets to yoga.

The marking of your assignment is cookie cut versions.

I am desperately disappointed.
