Vantage was established in 2007 and is Thailand’s highest rated TEFL program.

They offer a 120-hour, in-class TEFL course with 6 hours of observed teaching practice in Thai schools.

The course structure was well organised, and the trainers were knowledgeable and approachable. Chris is the best English language trainer I’ve ever had, and Kevin helped us massively with CV preparation and interview skills. I really enjoyed learning from two very experienced teachers in Thailand. I also learned a lot about Thai culture and how to contextualise teaching to suit Thai students. The atmosphere throughout the course was very supportive and enjoyable.

I completed six observed teaching practices in real classrooms, where I taught students of different ages and levels. Those experiences were especially valuable, and the feedback I received was extremely helpful in improving both my teaching style and my confidence.

I highly recommend the TEFL course at Vantage for anyone interested in teaching in Thailand.

I had an absolutely fantastic time completing my TEFL course with Vantage TEFL it was far more than just training; it was genuinely life-changing and a ton of fun.

The whole program is built with real care and purpose. From day one, it gives you a strong, practical foundation in teaching English, but the highlight for me was stepping into real classrooms and working with actual students. Those observed teaching sessions were exciting, eye-opening, and surprisingly fun.

What made the biggest difference was the incredible team behind it. The instructors are outstanding patient, knowledgeable, and truly invested in your growth. They’re not just there to collect a paycheck; they genuinely pour their hearts into helping every trainee succeed. I’ve just completed my in-person class, and Vantage really boosted my confidence in teaching adult students. At first, I believed I could only connect well with primary students. However, after completing six teaching practices, I discovered that I truly enjoy teaching adults as well.

Vantage also guided us on how to create a strong, professional resume and helped us understand Thai culture better. I highly recommend joining this course if you’re interested in teaching in Thailand.

I’m just finished my in person class and

Vantage gave my confidence to teach with adult students

At first, i thought i’m only get along with primary students

But now i found out that i love to teach adults after teaching 6 practices

Vantage taught us how to write power resume and Thai culture.

I completed the 120-hour TEFL course at this academy and had a positive experience. The teaching quality met my expectations, with clear and well-organized content. The course also included seven supervised teaching practice sessions, which gave me the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real classroom situations.

The program offers strong practical value, including a useful section on improving your resume, which helps when applying for jobs. It has also allowed me to apply for teaching positions in my native language, Spanish, as many schools require a minimum of 120 hours of teacher training.

Overall, it’s a solid and recommendable TEFL course..!

I took Vantage’s hybrid Combined Course and started with the online coursebook, which was solid. What really made the difference, though, was being able to sit in on their in-class TEFL sessions. Seeing everything happen live made the whole course “click” in a way the book alone couldn’t.

The highlight for me was doing six observed teaching practices in real classrooms with non-English-speaking students. Every lesson focused on a different language topic, and I got to teach students of different ages and levels. It was definitely challenging at first, but the trainers gave really helpful, supportive feedback after each session. I could actually feel myself improving lesson by lesson.

By the time I finished, I felt much more confident and genuinely ready to teach in a real classroom. So pretty much anywhere in the world.

If you want a TEFL course that’s hands-on, supportive, and actually prepares you for teaching, I’d happily recommend Vantage.

I just finished an in-person TEFL course in Bangkok, and it was such an amazing experience! Our trainer gave us super practical skills in classroom management and lesson planning that made me feel ready to teach from day one. The best part was getting real-life teaching experience in a Thai school and a local foundation—actually being in the classroom with students was incredible. I loved seeing my lessons come to life and learning how to adapt to different learning styles. My trainer was always there to guide us, answer questions, and give advice, which made everything feel so doable. Living and teaching in Thailand also gave me a deeper understanding of the culture, it was eye opening and so much fun. I met amazing people from all over the world, and the sense of community was incredible. Overall, this course didn’t just teach me how to teach English but it gave me confidence, unforgettable memories, and a real taste of life in Thailand. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting adventure while learning to teach abroad!

Attending Vantage TEFL was an excellent professional decision I’ve made. The course was well-structured, practical, and engaging. The trainers were supportive and knowledgeable especially the real classroom teaching experience and giving feedback. which gave me the confidence to teach English effectively in different settings. I had previously done TEFL/TESOL courses online. I decided to take this course because I wanted the face to face interaction with a teacher. This was a four week intensive course which included course workbooks, online reference material and a 6 hr practicum. The class size was small. Full attention from the teacher was given. Our teacher was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and occasionally funny. After completing this course, esp with the practicum arranged by Vantage, I feel I am a step closer to teaching students English.
