I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hours) online with the TEFL Academy, and as an overall evaluation, I would confidently say that the study was of an excellent value. Concerning the content, the course was highly rich in its pedagogical material coupling a detailed explanation with clear conveyance of the meaning (which was additionally enhanced through an attractively designed online platform that runs smoothly and with ease). And last but not least, an enjoyable learning process accompanied by a very competent staff of the Academy teachers who showed all readiness for help and support besides a technical team who was prepared to promptly provide what was needed!

The TEFL Academy

The TEFL Academy is a great way to open up opportunities for you if you are looking at working abroad to teach English. The online course is 148hours and practical is 20hours in total it’s 168hours. It is easy and fun. They explain every aspect of teaching English to foreign students as well as provide a good support system when you find it difficult to understand a certain aspect . The course provides lots of activities to help you understand the course material. I really enjoyed the course and learned a lot. Their practical course was very helpful it gave us an insight of what the course expects of us. And lastly even after completing the course the academy provides a list of companies that you can apply to in order to find jobs abroad as well as showing you how to set up a cv to apply for these jobs. I highly recommend The TEFL Academy.

I have just completed my 168 hour online TEFL course. I was able to complete the course comfortably within the time frame, at the same time as working. I found it really interesting and easy to follow. The grammar units were particularly useful as I had received no formal grammar teaching during my own education! The 20 hour classroom practice weekend was great fun and an opportunity to meet like minded people! Ifeel this course has opened up options for me and I look forward to putting my training into practise.

I chose the combined course option, which I’m very satisfied of. The face-to-face part gave me very good tips on how to teach English: the trainer let us simulate some situations that could happen in class and how to deal with them properly. Also, the atmosphere was very relaxed and stimulating.

With regards to the online part, I can say that all the units were clearly structured: each of them focused on particular aspects of teaching (grammar, vocabulary and how to create proper lesson plans) plus a very good analysis of the four skills to teach in class (listening, reading, writing and speaking).

The three assignments were a bit hard but the instructions and feedbacks were very detailed and punctual, so in the end they were useful.

I would just suggest more hours of face-to-face course because it is an excellent way to practise teaching while learning.

What a brilliant introduction in to all things TEFL! I say introduction, the course goes far beyond that and gives you the resources and feedback to make the most of the experience. I have been extremely impressed with not only the course structure and materials, but also the speed in which staff from The TEFL Academy get back to any queries and questions. I’m sure it would be the same if you had any problems (fortunately, I didn’t). I would wholeheartedly recommend this course, especially if it’s going to be your first time in a classroom as the Face-to-face practice will be so valuable! Thank you to all at the TEFL Academy!

I have just completed the Level 5 (168 hour) online TEFL qualification. It took me just under 4 months to complete the qualification which is made up of 11 units and 3 assignments. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anyone. The TEFL Academy is extremely professional and their communication is amazing. The online course is user friendly and easy to navigate. The units flow in a logical order and each contain activities which prepare you for the end of unit tests. There is plenty of guidance and instructions with each assignment and the feedback is constructive. There are lots of links for further reading which was really helpful. I was really impressed with the course and am happy that I chose The TEFL Academy!

I’ve just finished my 168 hour, Level 5 TEFL qualification with The TEFL Academy, and you know what? It was awesome. I have no experience with teaching at all (I’m but a humble writer), but through completing this course I feel confident that I will be a successful teacher! This course has definitely helped me build the knowledge needed to deliver an effective ESL class and the practical component was also very helpful and most importantly fun!

For anyone looking to get their TEFL qualification I would seriously recommend The TEFL Academy.

A wonderful opportunity to study with an academy of excellence! I signed up with The TEFL Academy for the TEFL course, level 5 (168 hours). From the beginning to the end, the level of support was incredible. The course content was clearly presented and easy to navigate. The lesson plan guidance has been such a big help and lots of additional websites have been given for further research. I recently competed the online TEFL Level 5 Course (168 hours) with The TEFL Academy. I really enjoyed the course. The online learning site is very easy to use and navigate around. The lessons are clear and concepts are easy to grasp. There are enough activities provided to practice. Feedback to assignments is given quickly and is very helpful. When the decision to take a TEFL lesson was made I decided to choose The TEFL Academy based on little research and comparison to other course providers on the internet. The rapid response by the team was excellent as all questions and inquiries are made were attended to.

When I finally begun the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs), the user friendly and easy navigation of the site was appreciable. The course was well structured and the units gave in depth knowledge and links to optional and further studies.

The flexibility in duration also enabled me to complete the course because I had the option of extending after the six months was over. Activities were also apt, it required that you apply all what you have learned.

The Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) can neither be described as difficult not easy because it strikes a balance and it is even worth more than what is been paid for.

For anyone who desires to take a TEFL lesson, I will not hesitate to recommend the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) offered by The TEFL Academy as it is the best choice in the market.
