A brilliant course which you can do at your own pace and in your own time. Very supportive programme with lots of opportunities to learn the content in different ways (videos, reading, online forums, quizzes).

I would strongly recommend the tefl course if you wish to become a teacher. I have studied translation at uni so I was familiar with a lot of the content which is seriously explained at a university level. It’s very comprehensive and clear, the exercises are very well thought to put your knowledge into practice and the videos they included are really helpful. It’s a bonus that you can do it at your own pace from your laptop at home, but you can get help from the tefl staff very quickly if you need so. The feedback for the exams were really clear and helpful as well. Also, I would like to highlight that they include websites and platforms for you to find job as a teacher in the world and online. It’s fantastic if you wish to travel and be a teacher across the world. I would choose it again as I enjoyed doing it and learning a lot!!!!

I juste finished the level 5 course with TTA and I am so happy about it!

The lessons are easy to understand and with every unit you have a lot of resources to extend your knowledge: videos, articles, websites, etc.

The assignements might feel overwelming when you open the files but you are not alone, instructors are here to help you through it if needed and the feebacks are clear and thourough.

What I really loved about TTA is that I never felt lost or alone, you can always ask if you need something and the answer comes quickly and with kindness!

It’s been a mounth since I finished my course and I am in the process to do the internship in Cambodia. Doing the TEFL course was the best decision of my life and I am very happy I did it with the TEFL Academy!

I recently completed the Level 5 course with The TEFL Academy and I really enjoyed it. The course was well-structured and easy to follow, which made learning feel manageable and even fun. What stood out the most for me was the great support, whenever I had a question or needed help, someone was always there to assist me.

I’m honestly so happy with the experience and feel confident moving forward with teaching English. I’d definitely recommend The TEFL Academy to anyone thinking about getting TEFL certified!

I really enjoyed this course. I feel equipped enough to take on teaching English whether it is online or in a foreign country. As a qualified speech therapist, I feel that the course added to much benefit to my learning and I can utilize the resources and tools for teaching English into my therapeutic environment if necessary. I am excited to see what jobs I can take on in teaching English.

This course made me excited about the idea of teaching other people the English language. I have always loved and enjoyed the English language but the course truly brought out a sense of appreciation for the theory. Having to balance work and personal commitments, I found the flexibility of the self-paced format incredibly helpful and more achievable.

The course content was easy to follow, informative, insightful and covered key topics on how to go about teaching and interacting with the students and to set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and timebound goals for me as a teacher. This will enable me to guide student’s work and measure their progress as well as my own as a teacher. I liked how the assignment gave a real world picture of what to expect when planning a lesson for students and I found the feedback valuable as it was personalized and gave me insight into what to work on when I do start planning my lessons ‘in real life’. I’m totally confident that this course has prepared me for online teaching and I now look forward to topping up my subjects for Level 5 course so that I access teaching jobs abroad.

This course is really money well spent and I absolutely no regrets about taking this it, one of the best decisions I have taken in terms of self developments. The extra downloadable resources will also go a long way for future lesson planning.

What I felt was missing was video presentations of typical classroom interactions with students to give me a better idea of what the lessons would/should look like.

I really appreciated the templates of the cover letters as well as the templates of the CVs in relation to job assistance, I found that to be quite helpful. The Jobs board is really helpful as there are posting almost every second day so it makes me hopeful of job prospects.

I recently completed the online Level 5 TEFL course with The TEFL Academy, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. As someone balancing work and personal commitments, I found the flexibility of the self-paced format incredibly helpful. I was able to access the course from anywhere and work through the modules on my own schedule.

The content itself was clear, well-structured, and comprehensive. It covered everything from grammar fundamentals to lesson planning, classroom management, and practical teaching techniques. The downloadable resources were especially useful and something I’ll definitely revisit when I’m actually in the classroom.

What I appreciated most was the emphasis on real-world application. The assignments required thoughtful planning and reflection, not just box-ticking. The tutors provided detailed feedback that actually helped me improve. I also completed the optional 10-hour virtual classroom course, which gave me more hands-on practice and confidence with lesson delivery.

Overall, this course has prepared me well for teaching English abroad or online. I now feel confident creating engaging lessons and managing a class. I’d absolutely recommend The TEFL Academy to anyone serious about teaching English as a foreign language. Just make sure to set your own schedule and stick with it—the course is doable, but you’ll get out of it what you put in!

My journey with the TEFL Academy was exceptional. The support from the tutors were responsive, knowledgeable and always encouraging.

The course material was engaging, well structured and informative for users with no former teaching background. The assignments and quizzes were relevant and insightful, challenging your knowledge on every unit covered. You are provided example lesson plans which is relevant for your assignments and these examples are so helpful especially when you’ve never completed one in the past.

The tutors provide you with valuable feedback which were essential in understanding important elements that help shape English as a foreign language.

A special shoutout to Luan with her warm presence and aura that made my practical experience worthwhile. I was initially very nervous entering the practical because it was out of my comfort zone but I left the session feeling informed, confident and motivated.

The TEFL Academy further assists with employment information by providing you with the Job Board with listings from all over the world which is so so helpful. Throughout the course you are provided with valuable resources from class behaviour, activities,, things NOT to do – that can be used when starting your new journey in another country.

My College English teacher suggested to gather the right set of teaching tools in this course. I loved every step of it. The explanations are clear and the abc assignment with the feedback is a gem!

I really enjoyed this Level 5 TEFL Course. The selection of topics is quite practical , besides they have been arranged in the perfect order. Especially,designing of units related to grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation are worth mentioning. They are interesting,comprehensive, and extremely useful .

The course also enlightens teachers with all the technical details related to effective teaching including subtleties related to classroom management. Nevertheless,I humbly want to make one suggestion. How about a unit dedicated to different Model Conversations like Business English, Formal English , Informal English,etc explaining their minute details ? This will go a long way to make to-be-teachers more aware of emphasizing the importance of spoken English to their students.

So, overall this was an excellent course to guide teachers to effectively teach English as per the requirements of students and it really was a great experience.
