The 168-hour Online Qualifi Level 5 TEFL Course is thorough and engaging. The online course is challenging and flexible, well structured and covered all of the essential skills necessary to teach ESL. The online tutors were helpful and provided extensive and valuable feedback on the assignments. This course has given me the confidence to teach ESL and I am so glad that I made the decision to complete the Level 5 TEFL Course through The TEFL Academy. This is an excellent course, one that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to teach ESL online or abroad.

I found this course really helpful to give me more confidence in my English teaching. Overall it gave me more resources and ideas that have already helped me with students, and I liked that every module gave very practical instructions for activities to try. The grammar unit was challenging but I felt it was thorough and clear – and personally much appreciated for helping me not to panic when approaching grammar teaching. The course was geared mainly towards classroom teaching so more about one-to-one teaching, or how to adapt activities for solo lessons would have been useful as well. The only thing I actively didn’t like was the lesson plan tables for the coursework as I didn’t feel these were very realistic, but I can also see that this level of detail may be required of a new teacher at a language school so it was a good discipline to have to get to grips with.

The Level 5 TEFL course is very insightful. At times it was challenging because of the terminology used in the beginning. Once you get used to the terminology, it gets easier. The course touches on different areas one will need to know when teaching English, for example, lesson planning, ESL terminology, a few units that focus on grammar and parts of speech, how to evaluate materials, how to manage a class. The knowledge I gained, I can use in the classroom and also in everyday life. The support teams respond quickly and answer all your questions. There are plenty of extra resources they give after each unit. I will definitely recommend The TEFL Academy and the Level 5 Online course to everyone.

I started my level 5 TEFL course May 2020 with TEFL academy, I wanted to start a career teaching English online to foreign students. I wasn’t sure what to expect, I started the course and opened up my first module which was exciting but I was a bit nervous too. I sat about two hours a day quietly on my laptop going through the modules which were so interesting, it was a bit overwhelming at first because I was learning terms I wasn’t familiar with but as I carried on it became second nature to me. The course content was set out well, everything was easy to understand, if I had any questions I could send an email to a tutor and it was answered quickly. The assignments were explained well and again if I had any questions or needed help I got a lot of support from the tutors by sending an email. I am so grateful that I passed my course just before Christmas time which was a great gift , I am now able to teach English online. Thank you TEFL Academy

I have taking the TEFL 5 course and have received my certification. I am so thankful to have done this for myself and have enjoyed a new learning experience. At my time of purchase the price was reasonable and the administration department was very attentive. The course information and resources are very informative. The assignments get your creativity going, which makes it fun and allows for you to understand how the teaching process becomes valid.

This was my first online course and I had a very positive experience in completing this course. The instructions were presented very clearly and the material covered all the important areas of English. The assignment markers were also great, giving honest feedback and within the timeframes promised. I did not have any issues at all.

I don’t have any negatives to mention at present. I will also gladly recommend this course.

I had a really good experience while doing my online TEFL course. As it was online, I was not able to benefit from this valuable resource of Practice Teaching.

Once I am financially stable again, I would love to do the 10 hour Teaching Practice course, as I feel that this is fundamental for me as a new teacher.

I will definitely be making use of the websites in search of a suitable job.

The course is so thorough and comprehensive. It helped me revisit some of my earlier training in language learning and teaching in a highly accessible and interactive manner! I learnt a lot of new things and I cannot wait to implement these in my teaching. I am so happy I chose The TEFL Academy! I couldn’t ask for more. Their communication and feedback are so prompt I felt so valued as a student. Despite our time differences, queries I sent via email were responded to within 24 hours. The tutors also professionally handled themselves and they gave specific feedback. To cap it all the certificate is so beautiful. I would highly recommend the course.

This course has been an incredible experience. Covering all essential aspects of ESL, from grammar to vocabulary , as well as productive and receptive skills and more. I really appreciated the tips around the teaching pedagogy. It gave me a lot of confidence in equipping me with enough initial skills to dive deeper into practising and enhancing my professional ESL teaching skills. Thank you, team, for all your effort and feedback on assignments, which I am sure will guide me for many years!

I have chosen the course with an additional classroom practice component, which I opted to be online, and it was really worth it. I realise the more actual practice teaching I get involved in, the more confidence I get as a teacher.
