The Language House community is a group of crazy, fun, smart and adventurous people that I love. It takes guts to move across the world to a completely foreign city to become trained in a whole new profession, but they make the transition so easy, you almost forget how intense the course you’re taking is. The honest truth is the course is challenging, a lot of work, and an investment…. but the best things in life don’t come easy. Now that I’m on the other side, I see the depth of planning, work, support and extra work all of the employees pour into this program so that their trainees are successful. They truly ease the frustration of any of the confusing logistics that come with moving abroad, such as finding housing, visa applications, job searches, and figuring out what groceries to buy when the only Czech word you know is “pivo.” For those who tell me, “Oh, I could never do what you did!” I say, sign up and let’s see.
