TEFL Worldwide Prague offers a 4-week internationally recognised and accredited TEFL course in the enchanting city of Prague.

Our 130-hour TEFL course provides an excellent insight into TEFL approaches and methods, as well as 6 to 8 hours of hands-on teaching practice in real classrooms. The teaching practice during the TEFL course will give you a solid foundation when beginning your first job teaching English abroad.

We will support you before, during and after the course and help you find a teaching job after graduating. You can stay and teach in Prague or teach all over the world. Graduates usually find work 1-2 weeks after the course. We are part of a large language school in Prague, so many graduates come and work for us straight after the course.

Taking the TEFL course with TEFL Worldwide Prague was a life changing experience. I wanted to switch careers and was desperate to get out of my old job back home. I wanted to do so without committing another 2-3 years in school and paying hefty tuition fees.

After months of research I found out that teaching English abroad is a good way to travel, expand my cultural horizons while having consistent, stable income. Based on the comments and reviews from various reputable websites, TEFL Worldwide was by far one of the best programs in Europe.

From the moment I was accepted into the program, the staff at TEFL Worldwide provided me with all the support I need. The course itself was fun, engaging, interactive, and practical. We all had a chance to sharpen our English grammar, learn the most up-to-date pedagogical methodology and obtain valuable experience teaching real students. Shortly after the course concluded, my classmates and I were able to find jobs with ease within a couple weeks thanks to the help of Cheryl, Kenny, and the staff at TEFL Worldwide.

Overall, the program was well-organized and the instructors were highly knowledgeable and helpful. Upon completion of the program, I was confident in my teaching abilities and was ready to teach any student at any level and anywhere around the world! 🙂 The TEFL course absolutely, positively changed my life! I highly recommend it to everyone!

TEFL Worldwide Prague was exactly what I expected. Based on the reviews, I knew it was going to be hard work, long hours, and tons of fun. You teach in the first week which is great! The amount of support and help you can receive is unbelievable! You have to ask, they won’t know what you need until you ask. There is a final exam in the 4th week, so you’ll definitely want to be reviewing everything you learned in the first three weeks on a weekly basis. This is mostly because you learn a lot in weeks 3 and 4. Take great notes, ask great questions, and get to know your classmates. Everyone looks out for everyone. Keep in mind your classmates come from all over the world, so this may be their or your first encounter with someone from a different race, ethnicity, culture, country, state, City, etc. Culture shock is real! If you’re on the fence about joining, Go For It. I’d do it all over again!

Hello! My name is Brittany, and I took this course exactly a year ago, last March. I can’t tell you how invaluable that experience was! Not only did I learn valuable and helpful skills, but most teaching jobs abroad require a TEFL or any kind of ESL certification. This is an internationally recognized course that really gets you prepared for any atmosphere. You never know if you will find yourself in a pinch and without any resources to help you once you start teaching for real. This course helps prepare you with ideas, and prepares you mentally for these situations, too. It gives you hands on experience, which is so invaluable and crucial to your real world learning. Not only was this course academically helpful and credible, it is based in Prague, one of the world’s wonders. It is one of the most beautiful cities in all of Europe, and the world, with a wonderfully rich history and many historical buildings still standing. This was such an adventure for me, and it really launched me into my new teaching career! I am currently teaching in South Korea, and I think this experience really helped me look competitive for ESL jobs, and I know it will absolutely help get me a job in the future; anywhere in the world!! I DEFINITELY recommend this course!!

TEFL Worldwide Prague changed my life. Because of the fantastic classes and preparation I am able to teach anywhere I want to. Whatever issue is holding you back from signing up for the course, just take the leap, because it is completely worth it.

The course itself is comprehensive. You cover everything you will need as an English instructor. They help you plan lessons and how to actually instruct. They are always available to help you and the classes are fun and memorable.

By far the best portion of the program was the practice teaching. You teach every level of student, from basic learners to advanced speakers. They guide you along the way and give you plenty of feedback to hone your abilities. If you think you can get this level of professional help from an online class, you are sadly mistaken.

They truly set you up for the best possible position to be in with your TEFL certificate. Before we had even finished the program they were helping us find jobs all over the world. To this day they are always a reference of mine when applying for teaching positions. I could not be an English teacher abroad without their help.

The course is well-structured and enlightening. Day one, we are thrust into the role of a foreign students and it still resonates…the confusion, the shaky confidence, the quick build from ignorance to a basic greeting in Czech.

Simple things like board spacing and how to effectively use colored pens proved very useful.

Above all, Kenneth the lead instructor, is excellent. Very engaged and patient in his teachings…an ideal prototype. Behind the ease with which he delivers a grammar lesson, say, are hours of practice and preparation, a point made very clear when student-teaching comes.

The work staff is very friendly and helpful with apartment assistance near graduation. Nothing but love for Prague…incredible architecture, sense of history and golden pilsners.

I would definitely recommend this program to any who are pondering a move into teaching abroad.

one area to improve: the language companies information sessions…could give more detail about teaching atmosphere.

I’m so glad I’ve chosen this TEFL course. I must admit that it wasn’t a bed of roses – but very rewarding in the end. As a mechanical engineer – I reckon I’m ready to teach English now. Which I couldn’t say before this course at all 🙂 Our lectors were very skilled and helpful in many ways – answering questions, giving feedbacks after our lessons, and so on. Office staff was very nice too and tried to help us whenever we needed. I really appreciated we had chance to teach individual lesson as well as we could attend workshop focused on teaching kids. Last but not least I’ve made so many amazing friends during this course 🙂 To sum it up – if you are on the horns of dilema to do something like this – JUST DO IT!!! I’m pretty sure you won’t regret. I don’t think I’ve made a singularly better decision in my life than to take this TEFL course. I made my decision to partake in the TEFL Worldwide course in June and a couple months later I made it to Prague and met some of the most incredible human beings I’ve ever known. The course was interesting and touched on topics that I had never thought would be part of teaching a language (didn’t know what a PPP was until this course but other teachers I’ve had have used that model and now I have a model for it). I was incredibly happy that we were thrown into our first teaching assignment 3 days into the course because you have to start somewhere and the longer you’re in the course the more valuable the information gets for your lessons. Throughout job interviews since the course, I’ve had multiple recruiters tell me that since I came from TEFL Worldwide they know I’m fully capable of teaching for them.

Kenny was incredible and funny and had the best English teacher dad jokes ever. Jazmin and Alison were so much help in creating lesson plans and giving us ideas. Dana, Rosie, Veronika, and Mai were delightful and easy to talk to about any questions we had about moving to Prague, job searches internationally, where good food is, where to recycle, etc. Cheryl was a rockstar too and was consistently available for questions about job searches, resume and cover letter guidance and she had adopted a puppy right before our classes and he was very helpful in calming down nerves before we taught.

This experience was fantastic and I would recommend it in a heartbeat! This was the best quarter life crisis I could have asked for and now I live in Prague.

It was an amazing course, I made lots of friends and learnt very interesting things. The teaching was very fun, however lesson plans did take a while… to begin with. Our lecturers were great and were always there to answer any questions. Over his course I have made some amazing friends, people I will never forget and stay in contact with for what I hope will be the rest of my life. Being at the villa too helped a lot with making friends. If you are thinking about Prague I would say go for it!!! It’s a beautiful city, amazing architecture, awesome night clubs, good bars and it’s a fab course! Go go go become a TEFL teacher! If I can do it, so can you!!

TEFL Worldwide Prague prepared me extremely well to work for language institutes, companies, and vocational schools in Germany. We learned many useful teaching techniques and practiced them while teaching to non-native speakers at all speaking levels. We also did a grammar refresher that served very useful. The material taught was thorough, detailed, and relevant. The training I received was instrumental to my success at companies, as well as in group settings and to one-to-one clients in Germany. Having practice-taught all levels and all classroom sizes (including one-to-one), I felt very confident in Germany. The repertoire of skills I gained at TEFL Worldwide Prague helped me ease into language schools quickly because of the breadth of knowledge and experience I gained during this one intense month at TEFL Worldwide Prague. I felt confident in Germany because of how authentic the practice teaching was in Prague. Furthermore, the feedback after our practice lessons was very detailed and constructive. The program was thorough, intense, and enjoyable. The staff was always available. Completing the course in the backdrop of Prague really felt empowering. The world truly opened up its doors upon completion of this course.
