TEFL Trainer is a TEFL Certification provider with a network of schools in Spain.

TEFL Trainer has worked with over 50 UK and French universities organising teaching internships in English, Spanish, and French through a network of language schools in Spain.

Our online course is very comprehensive with over 100 video tutorials, interactive quizzes and its 6 final exams, to be supplemented by 6 reflective diaries and 6 lesson plans. A Student Handbook is also provided after the interview.

If you choose an internship or volunteering you will be provided with all the lesson plans as well as on-site support and further training.

I have spent 3 months in a language school in Madrid for this internship. I was initally coming to teach French, but TEFL Trainer gave me the opportunity to teach English as well. This was such a great opportunity for me, as I have studied English at university, but never got a certification to teach.

The content provided by TEFL Trainer is explained clearly and it allows you to take the online exams at your own pace. You can take some quizzes that fully prepare you for the exams.

I also had the opportunity to improve my Spanish, thanks to the free lessons provided by the school.

Julia is also very professional and helpful if you have any questions.

My time doing this TEFL course in Madrid was a fantastic experience. The quality of the resources I was given for the exams meant sure I was thoroughly prepared. In addition, the feedback and help I have been given throughout the programme were invaluable and I feel this course gave me a really strong foundation for the future. I always had access to advice with speedy response times as well.

During my TEFL training in Valencia I gained a lot of new knowledge and fantastic experiences.

The TEFL trainer programme covers all neccessary topics to make you a confident and well prepared teacher. These topics have to be completed with a final exam and in addition you have to write six reflective daries. This is a good possibility to consolidate your theoretical knowledge and to improve your general language skills.

In case of questions or problems Julia was available at any time, she was helpful and gave a lot of additional hints.

Overall, I really enjoyed the programme and I am very happy to have chosen it. Teaching students truly gave me a lot of enthusiasm; in addition, it benefited me immensely since it has helped me gain experience in teaching and it also allowed me to become very confident.

I have spent 3 months in Madrid to do my internship. This work experience of teaching was really perfect for me. I had no experience in that sector but the staff helped me a lot. Also, the method used by the school is adapted for teachers without any experience of teaching. The lessons provided by the website of TEFL trainer are really helpful and the reflective diaries are very constructive.

Few months ago I have completed a 140hour online Tefl course from Tefltrainer and I am very satisfied with their overall correspondence.

The content of the course has fit well as per my requirements and what I learnt more is how to manage different types of classrooms. I particularly enjoyed preparing different lesson plans for specific target areas which I also applied in the real classroom setting and at present, successfully working as a home tutor; hired by a local institution. The one-month TEFL course with TEFL Trainer is perfect for those who would like to gain the TEFL certification in a short space of time.

The online course contains 6 compulsory modules which are straightforward and can be completed at a pace that suits you. The theory is explained clearly and can be easily understood. For someone with little teaching experience, I felt well prepared to enter the classroom after completing the online course.

Upon arrival at the language school in Madrid, the head teacher quickly introduced me to their style of teaching and materials used, and by the second day, I was taking my own classes. The facilities could do with some work; during periods of heavy rain there were a few leakages but this did not have a negative impact on my time at the school. I received constructive feedback and left the language school with a new set of skills that I will carry for life.

My overall experience of TEFL Trainer was fantastic. I really enjoyed the blend of online training with teaching in Madrid, giving me a chance to implement what I had learnt. The reflective diaries were also really helpful to delve deeper into the theory behind teaching and enabled continuous reflection and progress in my own teaching style. The school although slightly basic, had a set routine and structure which helped make teaching for the first time less daunting. The students and staff were friendly and it was nice to meet so many lovely people! I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in doing a TEFL course but wanting the experience of teaching simultaneously whilst being in a new country.

Doing my TEFL training in Madrid proved to be a fantastic and rewarding experience. The teaching practice proved to be invaluable for my development as a teacher and my confidence. The course throws you straight into the classroom, so for a beginner teacher like myself this was a little daunting!. Having said this, it was the best way for me to learn. The theoretical part of the course complements the practical part, the six reflective diaries ask you to draw upon elements of your experience and consider how they can be used moving forward. The six final exams test you knowledge of vital EFL teaching areas such as phonetics and grammar. The complementary nature of the course allows to apply this knowledge to a classroom situation. I would definitely recommend the TEFL trainer internship to anybody looking to launch a TEFL.

I really enjoyed this online course with TEFL trainer. In two months time I had completed the TEFL Internship with success. It was a challenging and rewarding experience. The online lessons were perfectly dosed, neither too short nor too long with a variety of contents. Moreover it allowed me to work at my own pace without the inconvenience of classroom schedules. As far as I am concerned it has been a positive experience thanks to the support given and the avalability of the trainer.
