Very engaging, the weekend flew by.

Our tutor was very knowledgeable about both the language and teaching it, and so he was able to skilfully signpost and consolidate for us the most important points of the process.

He made us feel at ease and at the same time gave us useful learning challenges and feedback.

The content and variety of exercises was both comprehensive and enlivening.

I was lucky enough to have had Simon as our teacher, the venue as well as structure of the course was excellent and Simon was a fantastic teacher as well. I can’t praise him enough but I will give it a good go, Simon put us at ease and had a manner about him that put us at ease and was also really supportive.

Highly recommend TEFL and Simon.

Me and my girlfriend just completed our weekend course in Brighton with Stephen. We are a hundred times more relaxed and confident about the course than we were on Friday aha. I honestly didn’t think I would get along with he ‘classroom’ type of lesson, but Stephen is like superman when it comes to teaching a subject to someone, of which they have no clue about. Wherever I end up teaching, I not only have the TEFL.org to thank but definitely Stephen as well, as with out him teaching me over this weekend I would definitely have lost my way a little bit on the course.

Very good experience. I just wish there was a short session at the end covering how to start looking for a TEFL job as a new teacher. But in general I had great time during the 2 days + very efficient.

Michela was a great teacher. She was knowledgeable of subject matter and experienced with teaching these concepts. The teaching centered around student interaction and feedback which allowed for multiple channels of learning through out the class. Great Job!

The course was very informative and provided me with everything I needed. Asif was also a great teacher and made the classroom course very enjoyable and interesting.

I felt my course was a great introduction to the many components involved in teaching English as a foreign language. From showing us several formulas for creating lesson plans, to differentiating grammar tenses, to techniques in making learning fun and engaging. I definitely took a lot of valuable tools away from the process, aside from the many sources of links and example power point slides used throughout the course. I wasn’t so aware prior to starting the course that it would be more focused on teaching from primarily the virtual classroom. Though I found the trial and error training useful to a certain degree, I felt it ate into our overall learning time while waiting for all other students to sort their own technical learning issues, myself included. Though I understand we had to use a web based platform to practice demonstrating teaching a lesson, I don’t know how much of my future teaching will require my “Zoom savviness”, and would have preferred more time allotted to giving us more tools, tricks, and techniques for teaching rather than how to manage a zoom classroom. All in all, I would still very much recommend the course and the resources that come with it. I also appreciated the focus, insight, enthusiasm, and experience our teacher brought to the table.

I feel more confident about planning a lesson and completing the online course. I learned many useful examples of activities I could perform with students. Our tutor was excellent. The hotel venue was disturbing from background noise.
