I really enjoyed the course but I would have liked to do more practice online using Zoom or another platform.

The overall course was a fantastic journey with assistance always on hand for whatever help I needed. The weekend course was also extremely well put together with the activities serving as challenging yet very enjoyable. I would recommend this course to anyone teaching English as a foreign language.

Overall I found the course experience really user friendly and appropriate. This is especially true online with the bitesized management of completing the modules. Having the two day in-class training really brought together the whole experience of engaging your students and eliciting their understanding in lots of fantastic ways.

The feedback on task and module completion, both online and off-line, was good. It always gave the opportunity to experiment with lesson plans whilst focusing the understanding of the students you’re working with.

Really good facilities were provided for the classroom lessons and the teacher, Tony, was really knowledgeable and encouraging.

The experience of looking for work once a course has ended can be quite independent as with many courses. But it would’ve been nice to look at some of the portals where jobs are listed as a class and look at the job requirements. This may be especially true for beginning teachers who will have to adapt to a new working style and environment.

But overall I would highly recommend this course. It is fulfilling and enjoyable.

A really enjoyable set of classes that was very informative and helpful! It was a great opportunity to practice giving classes with different lesson structures and to then get some helpful feedback from Kirsty and the other students.

My main issue with the course is that it felt like the lessons/sessions could have been longer – there were a couple of times where we cut over the 7pm finish time, which is a shame because it was mainly due to everyone coming into the lessons with a good attitude and a lot to discuss about the topics of teaching in-class vs online and the ways to adapt in-person exercises for online. That said, I know I went a little over my own lesson timings and I think some of the other students did as well, so this may have been the reason for that.

Kirsty has a really earnest, professional manner in the way she takes the classes, and her feedback was honest but encouraging – there were some valuable pointers that I will be careful to take on board when planning future lessons. She was also really helpful with providing her notes/outlines from each day’s lessons and follow up links to resources and potential employers.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in online teaching!

I really enjoyed Arthur’s teaching. But one thing that needs improvement is time keeping. All the lessons went over the time frame and I have other priorities that need tending.

I enjoyed my virtual lesson course with the instructor Arthur. He was very competent and meticulous in teaching, and he made his lessons interesting and engaging. I learned a lot concerning Zoom classroom management skills as well as lesson planning. The time zone differences are a bit hard to deal with, yet the class itself was quite good. I cannot recommend it more!

This is an excellent course overall, and a particular stand-out is the instructor-led portion of the course. Arthur, the instructor, was well prepared and provided meaningful, constructive feedback. He also promptly answered questions emailed to him outside of class time.

Our course instructor was so helpful, engaging, approachable and motivating. Learning about the opportunities we could experience from teaching abroad was so inspiring. Steve was clear, honest and answered any and all questions we had.

I am so excited to go further with my TEFL course.

I am very pleased I signed on to this course. It was a challenge to organise this after work but I managed it, which in itself an achievement.

Arthur was very competent in his teaching and methods as well as being very patient and helpful. I learned a lot about zoom and it’s jazzy tools.

The ability to practise teach my fellow students has been invaluable considering I have not taught since qualifying as a TEFL teacher.

I feel more equipped and confident now to teach online on and just need willing students now.

So as far as courses go, this has achieved it’s objectives.
