The TEFL Org is staffed and managed by experienced professionals with over 30 years of experience in teaching English and teacher training. You’ll receive the highest standard of TEFL training throughout your transition to an English language teacher; from detailed course content to extensive support from our tutors and team of experts.

We have a wide selection of courses available to choose from, ranging from a short 20 hour weekend classroom TEFL course all the way up to our 198 hour Level 5 TEFL course, which involves a 3 day classroom course plus 168 hours of online study.

These were really comprehensive online sessions giving examples and advice on teaching and related activities. It was a safe, non-judgemental space to practise teaching and receive personalised feedback. These sessions also provided the opportunity to practise using Zoom and its functionalities for teaching online which was extremely useful.

I really enjoyed the course. Clare is a great instructor – very professional and welcoming. The other students on the weekend course were incredibly supportive and I was surprised by how quickly I felt like part of a team. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone considering an EFL career.

I loved this course and learned a lot from it.

Clare did an incredible job handling our online assessment. I learned a lot from her (including her personal experience) and loved how she ran the class, how well she was able to work with people from a range of ethnic backgrounds and how she helped us handle technology glitches. Her feedback on the demo lessons was constructive and very accurate.

Joanna who corrected the written assignments was also great.

The resources could be updated a bit to include more on online teaching (given our reality with COVID for the next while). Thank you Tefl.org

I really enjoyed the 4 zoom sessions with Simon, he was engaging, friendly and offered excellent advice. The lessons were interesting and easy to follow, offering lots of invaluable advice and tips for teaching. The practice lessons we put together were very helpful for giving a just a small taste of what teaching English is like, and Simon gave brilliant feedback.

Good thorough course, instructor for my classroom course was knowledgeable, affable, and engaging (Simon French – you’re lucky if you get him teaching you).

The online course was very detailed and helpful, plenty of information I’d never even considered.

My only critique would be sometimes my online tutor wasn’t 100% clear with their feedback when I had questions, but when I asked for more details they were happy to give more information.

All in all, I recommend this course highly

I really enjoyed doing the virtual course. I feel like I learnt a lot from Simon, especially feedback from my lessons. Nice to have praise but also know the areas I can improve on. His explanations throughout were great and nice to hear about his stories of teaching too.

The course was well presented and there was lots of information provided about the different ways of teaching a lesson

There was a lot of good feedback provided for our mock lessons

Maybe could have provided some tips for creating a lesson plan

Elizabeth certainly knew her audience. As a group of people waking up earlly(ish) on the weekend, her relentless energy and enthusiasm was fantastic. Her explanations were clear, and her feedback was really helpful. Give her a payrise!
