I completed my Trinity CertTESOL in May 2023

at TEFL Iberia.

I couldn’t have chosen a better place to do my

course!

I learnt so much about the course. I had already

experience in teaching as did a previous mini

course at TEFL Iberia about 10 years ago and I

was not sure whether I was going to learn that

much.

I am glad I did the course as I learnt so many

skills from week 1. Really loved the teaching

practice with all the tutors, especially with lan,

the course coordinator! He was so helpful and

guided me all the way through the course. But

Sasha and John were also very nice!

The staff, starting with Mirna, the best

receptionist a teaching school could have, she is

also an English teacher and she was amazing

helping all the time. Juliana, the school manager

, she is the most loving person and a STAR in

capital letters …..Jayde, was also so great …Just

to name a few …but all the staff had in common

2 things : so profesional people but also the

human quality was beyond standards and that’s

what makes this school being so unique and

completely different to the rest of the schools.

Also the school itself is so beautiful and it has a

lot of charm and so welcoming!You really feel

like at home. There is also a lovely library.

I made lifetime friends and we created a really

nice feeling amongst us after sharing our

experience of the course.

I have really enjoyed my time at this school and I

highly recommend this school to everyone who

wants to take the CertTESOL!

THANK YOU for all the support and a big

BRAVO to all of you!

TEFL Iberia has forever changed me as educator. Prior to the program, I had taught English as a Second Language (ESL) in the US for 4 years. I was worried that the program might not be as useful for me as it would for a new teacher, but that feeling quickly faded. Not only did I gain experience teaching adults, but I learned so much about the English language in a few short weeks. The program coordinators and tutors are incredibly knowledgeable, accessible, and understanding. The facilities are beautifully maintained and host a comfortable working/learning environment. I was so thankful to have been setup with a host and living accommodations. Finally, the friendships that I have made with other participants in the program are those that will last a lifetime. Barcelona is magical, and I would do the program all over again in a heartbeat!

I completed the Trinity CertTESOL course in August 2022 and loved it! The location of the school is perfect – in the heart of Barcelona, you can try lots of new restaurants in the area, see the beautiful sights the city has to offer and the weather is a bonus too. The school is modern, clean, bright, and fully equipped with everything you need. The library has all materials and books you need for preparing classes and developing your skills as a teacher. The staff are SO friendly and helpful, they are always on hand to guide you through the course and create a relaxing atmosphere for you to learn. The course has a mix of input tutorials and teaching practice. What I loved about the course is that you practice your teaching skills from week 1. Although this was daunting at first, you are fully supported by the tutors and this boosted my confidence in teaching massively. By the end of the 4-week course, I felt I had learned so much and was confident to teach English. The tutors continued to support me in making my CV and helped me apply for English teaching jobs in Barcelona.

The school really does offer everything you would want in a TEFL school. I am so glad I decided to move here and complete the course with TEFL Iberia. I am now studying here on the developing teacher course to hone my teaching abilities.

Massive thank you to everyone at TEFL Iberia, you are all amazing!

If you are thinking about doing a TEFL course, do it at TEFL Iberia. First of all! Location, location, location. It’s in the heart of Barcelona, Spain!! Sunny. Warm. Beautiful.

The school is clean and well-lit, the library has tons of useful teaching books and resources, and the coffee is strong! The best part about the school though are the people who run it. The teachers are very experienced and obviously love what they do! They are the perfect amount of supportive while also giving you space to be creative and independent in your lesson planning.

The support doesn’t stop there! They continue to help after the course is over—whether it be a restaurant suggestion or a job reference letter. 🙂

Now I know I want to be a teacher!

I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to begin a new adventure in English teaching! Great experience! Also, did I mention Spain?!

Doing the TEFL course has been one of the craziest and funniest experiences I’ve had! Over the last 5 weeks I have learnt so much from all the amazing teachers! All of the teachers have been so helpful and have really helped me be more confident when teaching. I have loved every minute of the course and even though it’s stressful, it is soooooooo worth it! I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a new and exciting challenge or if you’ve always wanted to teach! This is your sign!

My time as a Trainee at TEFL Iberia was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The tutors and administration staff were amazing, they were very supportive of every trainee and continued to provide assistance in every way possible before, during and after the course. I miss my time at the academy and I would highly recommend anyone who is interested to complete their CertTESOL certificate to go to TEFL Iberia Barcelona.

Some people would say that TEFL Iberia’s certification course is a once-in-a-lifetime experience—which is true, but also an enormous understatement.

Getting my TESOL certification in July of 2019 wasn’t just a once-in-a-lifetime experience: it was an experience whose impact will last a lifetime. The course opened up a world of possibilities for me (literally) and equipped me with the teaching skills, intercultural appreciation, and practical knowledge to feel confident seeking them out. Surrounded by a diverse group of students genuinely engaged in and passionate about our work, supported by instructors equally invested in and enthusiastic about our success, my TESOL certification course was truly one of the most enriching, fulfilling, and enjoyable months of my life. The afterglow of the experience will truly stay with me for a lifetime.

The program was excellent, especially for those who seek getting their certification within a month and are willing to work hard. The program is fast-paced and we learned a lot about teaching methods and gained experience teaching adults. In addition, the teacher we saw most often really cared about her career and our success, which was inspiring.

Admittedly, it’s a small school and a little hectic at times, but considering how much is fitted into the one-month program I chose, it was not unexpected. I also did the program which puts you in contact with an agency that can get you a job in China. After I did several interviews, I got two job offers and accepted a position in southern China; there were many places available in different types of schools, and I managed to find one that I enjoyed.

Overall, TEFL Iberia had a lot to teach me, and I’m really glad I did the program.

After going back to school after at least ten years I was worried about my capacity to do the course but after speaking to Richard, he helped me build up the confidence required to teach and believe in myself. The course was brilliant, we polished up on our rusty grammar and were thrown in the deep end on the first day! After the first week I began to enjoy myself teaching and realised that this is what I wanted to do. Having finished the course I’ve been working in a language academy and do lots of private classes, and I couldn’t be happier. This course has really helped me to find myself, I think if you’re thinking about doing this course, don’t hesitate just go for it you won’t be sorry.​

I had a great experience at TEFL Iberia, the course was intense, in-depth with professional and friendly staff, everything was well structured and organized, the content is meaningful, and I really enjoyed the actual teaching opportunities. You should be prepared for how intense it is and how much material is covered in 4 weeks. There were some stressful moments but I didn’t know I could do so much in so little time. Highly recommend!
