When I attended in 2024, they were so helpful with everything from accommodation to recommendations. The teachers went beyond and would answer questions very quickly and very thoroughly. They were extremely accommodating and helped me through some unforeseen circumstances.

The staff were amazing, resources great and the support from everyone was excellent. I also enjoyed the general vibe of the school and all the students as well! They organised groups of locals so we could do our teaching practice, and they were all very friendly and supportive to us new teachers. I’d recommend TEFL Iberia to anyone who wants to move to Barcelona to teach English.

I came into TEFL Iberia with very little expectation for what to receive – this is just me as a person not creating any expectation. Should I have had any, TEFL Iberia exceeded beyond that. 

The tutors here, Ian, Sasha, and Juli, have all been amazing role models. They guided us well into the lesson – producing a fun but also effective environment for us to learn and attain the skills to become better teachers. It has been a long while since I’ve taken a course in English. The tutors provided us with the tools to comprehend and be successful in our teaching practices. And so after a while, it become sort of second nature to plan courses and teach. Though the course assignments were overwhelming,  I felt the tutors helped us to be more effective and efficient.

I really enjoyed the students as well! It’s so humbling to be in a class teaching and your students are engaged and really taking in your ideas. That was so fun and it really fuels my confidence to be better. Hearing the students say their gratitude and enjoyment of my class also was very humbling.

I loved the tutors, the support was great, they really cared about our well being, I enjoyed learning from the experts and I appreciated their guidance. Practical experience in teaching early on and throughout the course was useful and I feel prepared to start working now.

Coming in with my teacher certification, I was unsure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the varied input sessions, learning about the communicative approach, learning about the different staging model lessons, and really digging into grammar and phonology. Truly a great learning experience. I also enjoyed the tutors, each of their different teaching approaches, personalities, and really appreciate their sharing of their expertise in all areas.

The variety of input session content was impressive. The course offered a diverse range of topics that kept me engaged and eager to learn. The feedback I received was not only constructive but also incredibly detailed, which helped me understand and improve my teaching skills. The support I received throughout the course was great, whenever I needed assistance with tasks or had questions, there was always someone ready to help.

As an improvement, if possible, it would be good to have a teaching practice session for teens/kids for trainees to have a one time experience with teaching kids during the course.

The whole experience was just amazing, all the tutors and staff were super helpful and friendly 🙂 I got lots of support with my visa and everything was explained clearly. I also got placed in a nice flat with some classmates in a neighbourhood just a short metro ride from the school. Thank you for everything!

I’m so grateful to TEFL Iberia’s wonderful staff for their guidance during my four weeks of hard but pleasant study and practice. The friendly teachers were always willing to help and answer my school-related or non-school-related questions. They clearly demonstrated and explained the tools needed to instruct our own english lessons. Having completed my TEFL certification, I feel much more prepared for the classroom.

I completed my TEFL course through TEFL Iberia in September 2023 and had a great experience! All the tutors are extremely nice and helpful, and willing to answer any questions you have both school related and not. The school is also very helpful with anything you need after the course is over and have tons of resources for finding jobs. Accommodations are provided for you before you arrive for the duration of your schooling. The school itself is located in a beautiful part of the city, and the classrooms have everything in them you need to teach with. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience with TEFL Iberia and would definitely recommend it to anyone who asked 🙂
