The TEFL Campus 4 week, 120 hour TESOL Certification and Training course in Phuket is intense, with long days, either in school, teaching, completing assignments, or revising for the final exams (grammar and phonology). However, despite the hard work and challenges the course is great fun and a good foundation from which to build on. There is also time to explore Phuket and experience local life.

The TEFL staff are all supportive, experienced and highly qualified – a big thank you to Fatima, Eric, Simon and the Thai staff!

It would have been helpful if you could have arranged face to face experience sharing sessions with working teachers at the end of every week.:)

I found TeflCampus Phuket’s tefl training to be an intensive and comprehensive course.

Although they presented a lot of useful information and helpful course materials, the materials could have been presented in a clearer, more organized fashion. Often we would be given papers/worksheets seemingly randomly that we may or may not go over and wasn’t always pertaining to the lesson at hand.

Everything they handed out was useful and needed information, they way it was distributed just made it difficult to track all of it.

The trainers were very knowledgeable and usually helpful. on occasion would resort (briefly) to rather negative/mean comments to students for relatively minor time management offenses. This would do more harm than good for the student, but it was not an ongoing problem (maybe just bad day? unusually stressed out?)

Overall, this was a very well run course/facility. I came away far more prepared to teach than i could have imagined, and they job support offered is very helpful!

Would definitely recommend this course!!

The TEFL Campus course in Phuket is amazing. I feel super confident in my grammar and phonetic skills. I needed the refresher and this is about as much as you can possible learn in a 4-week period. The practice teaching sessions were super helpful as well. I feel super confident moving into an EFL teaching position.

The value of this course is in the teaching practice and job support. I received great feedback that helped me improve and build confidence. It’s a very challenging course, but the staff made the whole process very easy so that all you have to focus on is teaching. I left feeling prepared enough to start teaching when I’m ready. They also go give great suggestions to make sure you have a fun (or relaxing) time while in Phuket! I would definitely recommend this course.

Thoroughly enjoyable course with a great team. I fancied a change of direction in my life and at 52 decided to try this with a view to working online, not only was I given a huge amount of help and encouragement by Eric and Simon they have offered further help when I return to Phuket next year. I know that they have helped 3 of my fellow students get job offers within a few days of the course ending which says a lot about the support and advice offered as part of the package. I highly recommend TEFL Campus, Phuket and intend to return next year to take their upcoming Thai courses.

After much searching, I came across Tefl Campus Phuket. From the moment I reached out, I knew it would be the right course for myself.

Eric was very helpful and honest from the start, giving guidance and advice on what to expect and the job market for someone without a degree but experience.

The course was great fun, made easier by having a great group of students. It is a full course, with long days and lots to learn, so come prepared!

The teaching is great, from the 1st lesson which is made for you, to the 6th, which you do yourself. This gives you a real insight into being an actual teacher, and the preparations required.

All staff are excellent, Eric and Simon, Diana and the lovely Thai staff who look after us.

Great fun, glad I did it, now to find a job!

If you are searching for a TEFL class that builds a good foundation to teach English, look no further! Eric and Simon are great instructors with a lot of teaching knowledge and experience. The lectures are jam packed with information, so come prepared to learn. I was nervous about studying grammar, but if you pay attention in class and take the time to review and study, you should have no problem. Just trust the process and enjoy!

You will learn a plethora of information in this TEFL Certification course. Come with the mindset that you are here to learn for a month and you will do great. The trainers, Eric and Simon, are outstanding trainers with a ton of knowledge and experience, and very helpful with any questions about Phuket Town. The classes were a lot of fun and the students you teach are wonderful! I highly recommend taking the TEFL course from them. Enjoy and have fun!

P.S. Low season is not that rainy.
