The extensive Trinity Diploma TESOL provided by Oxford TEFL offered me an amazing learning experience both online and in class. The Moodle platform was extremely useful for learning about new teaching trends, sharing experience and getting feedback from top notch teacher trainers! Thank you Nicola, Duncan, David, Sean and all others!!! The teaching practise part here in Prague was the highlight of the whole course, especially lesson planning guided by David and Sean and getting their valuable feedback. Thank you for becoming a better teacher and helping me find new job opportunities!!!

I loved being in the Oxford TEFL program in BCN. The staff was great and more than willing to go the extra mile to help you out. It was hard work, but you walk away with knowledge that you could not find anywhere else.

My only complaint is that timing is everything here. I did the March program, and it is in the middle of Spain’s school semester. If you intend on teaching in a school, I highly recommend waiting until the school year starts. You have to find a job on your own (they help with resume), so you should plan to start the program for the type of job that best suits your needs.

Other than that, highly recommend!

The TEFL Cert course has influenced my opinion about teaching and has given me a life-changing experience. After I had finished it, I realised that being a teacher is not only a big responsibility, but also an ejoyable job if you’re a creative and sociable person (which I am!)

The tutors have provided me with some great ideas and important tips about how to make lessons useful, productive and, of course, interesting.

In spite of all the intensivity of the course, there had always been a great atmosphere in the class created by the well-experienced and courageous teachers as well as by my friendly groupmates.

I recommed this course to everyone who wants to REALLY improve their teaching skills and bring themselves to a high new level in the pedagogical sphere.

I was in the September TEFL group in Barcelona. Overall, it was an amazing experience, very intense and challenging. The school is very well equipped with computers, books, different kinds of material that will help you prepare the classes and make them more fun for your students AND you:) The teachers are always there to help you, give their opinion of how you should plan a lesson, but they also give you the freedom to express your own creativity. Very professional. 5 stars :)))

Be warned, this course is intense and there is a lot of work crammed into 4 weeks (emphasis on ‘CRAMMED.’)

The tutors are absolutely top notch and excellent educators however and the course work is well thought out and feedback is generally very helpful.

The resources are a little sketchy sometimes. The actual teaching time you do on this course will prepare you for the real world of teaching pretty well and is probably the most invaluable component.

All and all, well worth it!!

I couldn’t speak more highly of my experience with Oxford TEFL in Prague. I have been an ESL teacher for over five years, and came to this course just hoping to get a certificate and expand my job opportunities. I didn’t expect that I would be leaving with so much more than that. I am returning to my job this fall a much stronger teacher than I was last school year, and am so appreciative of the expert help, support and feedback provided by the incredible teachers in this program.

I have attended the Trinity Cert Tesol Program in Prague and felt that my tutors for well above par. I have been teaching for a few years and still coming into this program I knew there were things to learn, but oh how many. It was a unique and at times grueling process. There are times when it seems that if you have to type one more word you might just throw your computer out the window, yep not tablet, I’m old. None the less, at no point did I want to give up. The tutors were supportive but honest. They gave us great practical advice and constructive feedback. I never felt that I was wasting my money or time in this program. I can see why this course is both respected and accredited. Now when I enter my classrooms, I feel a better understanding of my educational aims and a confidence that I did not have before. Thank you to all of the staff, and I highly recommend this school. But be warned, you will work. As my mom used to say,”If it’s worth having, it’s worth working for.” Yes, my mother put prepositions at the end of words, but I think we can still all agree with the statement. After the 4 weeks are finished you will be able to walk into a classroom, ready.

I took the Trinity Cert. TESOL course in June, 2016. The content of the course is thorough, thus making it very intensive. Although I felt overwhelmed at some point, the tutors were always there for me to assist me with the assignments. During input sessions, my lesson plans were addressed carefully and was given suggestions for my classes which proved to be essential for having an effective lesson. The feedback I received from both tutors helped me improve towards becoming a successful TEFL teacher. Moreover, they were very patient and eager to show me what could be changed in order to further my skills. Speaking of their resources, Oxford Tefl has all resources not only English teachers need but teachers of other languages as well such as Swedish, Japanese etc. Before I arrived in Barcelona and started the course, I had contacted Regina, the careers adviser to help me create a TEFL CV. She responded right away and email me her sample CV so I could follow her steps to create my own. On the course, I met her twice, once due to my request and the second time as part of the scheduled interview every trainee has with the careers adviser. In addition, she sent out my CV with my consent to TEFL employers in Barcelona and told me the following steps of finding a job. Conclusively, I highly recommend this course and Oxford Tefl because it opens up doors to many opportunities and trainees/graduates always feel supported by the staff.

I took the Trinity CertTESOL from Oxford TEFL recently. This was a great course. I took this course because of its accreditation and good reviews. I was not disappointed. The course was a lot of work, but worth the time. There was so much that went into the class, but it gives you a better understand of English and how it is taught. All the tutors were great and willing to help anytime you asked. I felt every comfortable and supported throughout the entire class.

I just finished the CertTESOL last month in Prague. I finally chose Oxford TEFL after researching all the Tefl schools in this city, and I’m so happy I did. The trainers are all very supportive, the course is well-organized, and the resources are plenty. I was actually quite surprised at how much I improved in 4 weeks, and the steady teaching practice we were subjected to was a true blessing. It was definitely intense, but don’t let that scare you away. There was plenty of time to have fun, and getting to know fellow trainees from many different backgrounds was a rewarding benefit. Our CVs were sent out to various reputable schools in Prague, and by week 5 here, I already had several interviews. Word of advice: If you plan on staying in Prague, get going on that flat search ASAP. Also, take all the feedback you get during the course to heart, and you’ll find yourself improving drastically.
