I really enjoyed the TEFL course, not only am I now able to teach English to non-native speakers but I have also improved other skills such as working as a team and I have definitely become more confident standing in front of a class. I have learnt a lot about the English language (grammar, phonology and vocabulary) which I had little knowledge about prior to the course. We received much guidance in our lesson planning and teaching practise as well as the lessons regarding grammar etc.

I look forward to finding a job back in the Netherlands in this field.

I enjoyed the course on teaching Business English, and I’m sure it will continue to help me (and my students) throughout my teaching career. I’d recommend it to any teacher who is new to teaching Business English, as well as those who need a ‘refresher’.

The Teaching Business English course was a very nice course which gave me some more ideas to become a ‘complete’ Business English Teacher. In particular I enjoyed the discussions on needs analysis, using authentic materials, using technology and coaching. Thanks to Billie for her tutorials.

Hi, I’m Elena and I completed Trinity CertTESOL course this June. For me it was a challenging but enriching experience. I particularly liked the structure of the course: input sessions with loads of new information went along with Teaching Practice, where I had a chance to implement all my newly aquired knowledge. I got great support from the staff, especially from the tutors who were guiding my teaching practice. Before each class I got assistance with lesson planning, and after feedback sessions I was clear on what I need to improve.

Inspite of all seriousness of the course and inevitable deadlines for the assignments, I had a lot of fun! My groupmates were amazing people from different parts of the world, we had great communication and all worked as a team.

All in all it was a very useful experience, it motivated me to learn more for to teach effectively and become a better professional.

I would highly recommend Oxford TEFL to any future Teachers. I recently completed the Business English Certificate and learned so much in a short space of time. The course was challenging yet convenient to complete in my own time and I received a lot of support and guidance from my tutor. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and look forward to applying the skills I have learned to all of my classes.

I completed a CLIL course this spring. Oxford Tefl is an excellent training centre: the course was very well-structured, materials provided were equally comprehensive and extensive. The best part of the course is the personalised feedback which was offered straight away when I asked a question. The tutor also provides you with extra resources and links to consult and explore. Definitely worth signing up for!

I really enjoyed the Leadership in EFL course with Oxford TEFL and learnt a lot not only about leadership but also about myself. There was a good mix of theory and practice in the course content and we also had the opportunity to bounce ideas off each other with the other participants. I totally recommend it to everyone!

I had been looking for an online course of quality for some time, but it wasn’t until I found the Online TEFL Starter course that I got excited about learning again. The course did not disappoint, as the book was full of solid and helpful information with plenty of opportunities to solidify my comprehension through the activities in the back of the book, and the tutor was more than helpful in pointing towards areas of further learning and development. It was a great experience, and helped solidify my understanding and approach to teaching.

I chose the Teacher Development EAP course and it was brilliant. Thorough feedback, excellent course content and the tutor (despite being on the other side of the world via Skype) was friendly, helpful and approachable. Despite being an experienced teacher, the course really opened my eyes as to what ‘best practice’ really ought to look like. I’d thoroughly recommend it for anyone teaching in EAP and particularly those looking to make the move from EFL to EAP.

The Developing Teacher Course at Oxford Tefl has been an enriching learning experience. Newly qualified teachers can benefit from this course as an extension of a Certificate course.

Tutored by various professional teacher trainers, weekly observations with feedback sessions, observing other teachers, extensive teaching practice with all levels and creating your own blog to reflect and keep a learning log are just some of the highly beneficial outcomes of this training experience.
