I was really impressed by the course and the way it helped me develop further as a teacher! I already had a CELTA but the 250-hour Diploma in TESOL gave me the much needed insight into teaching.

I had a great experience with this program, I did the 120-hour Advanced TESOL plus TEYL Certificate courses and I was satisfied with both. The online course was very well organized as it provided a lot of information and practice that helped me with lesson planning. The instructors were efficient and gave very useful feedback, I do feel that I learned a lot from it. I especially liked the fact that I could complete the courses at my own pace which is why I think that this program is ideal for people who have other commitments as well. I also received a lot of support during the practicum part which I chose to do later. The moderator replied to all my inquiries and was extremely supportive and involved throughout, I was not expecting that level of guidance and support. I can only describe this course as excellent, I can say that it exceeded my expectations.

I did the 250-hour TESOL Diploma, and 20- hour Specialist certificate courses (Teaching Young Learners, Business English, and Teaching IELTS). Margaret was my tutor for the Diploma course. She is highly experienced. She gave detailed explanations to questions, and provided constructive feedback. Talking about the course material, I think anyone can understand it. It was easy and concise.

For the Specialist courses, James was my tutor. He’s experienced and also responded to queries promptly. I think Teaching IELTS remains the best. It covered all aspects of the IELTS Exam preparations, and has wonderful tips that can help any student to succeed.

I must say that it is worth it for anyone aspiring to be a good ESL teacher to go for any of the OnTESOL courses. They are carefully designed to meet different needs with regards to teaching. Above all, you are going to meet wonderful people that would help you succeed. I remembered when I couldn’t meet up with the deadline due to accident that I had, Sebastian and others were there to help. I have already gotten my diploma and certificates but they are still willing to help with job search.

In general, I recommend Ontesol to anyone who wants to be a wonderful ESL teacher.

I moved to Canada during the pandemic, and in order to continue my 10 year long teaching career, I needed a certificate recognized by TESL Canada. So I chose Ontesol 120-hour advanced certificate.

The online courses allowed me to make the best out of the lockdowns, I was free to learn at my own pace, take the quizzes and rewatch and review the materials even offline, and I had the amazing support and thoughtful feedbacks from my tutor on my assignments and personal essays.

Over all it was a great learning experience for a teacher.

I did the 250-hour TESOL Diploma, practicum, Teaching Business English, and Teaching IELTS. The diploma’s course content was well designed and very informative. In the grammar module, there were a few ambiguities and errors in the text, so I turned to my tutor for help. Margaret was wonderful and answered my questions with very detailed explanations. Google and a good grammar book also helped a lot with the grammar module. I found the Teaching IELTS course to be more practical than the Teaching Business English course because it offered many tips that were really useful for IELTS. My tutors for these two courses, James and Mojgan, were great. They always replied back to me within 48 business hours.

One thing I love about OnTESOL is that they offer job assistance to their students and graduates. Dan, the student advisor, provided some much-needed resume and cover letter support. This has helped me land two interviews within a week.

All in all, I recommend OnTESOL to anyone who wants to teach ESL.
