Ninja Teacher was founded in 2013 and has grown to be a leading TEFL education company. We train and graduate over 100 English teachers per year and help them to secure employment teaching English in countries around the world or online.

We offer online and in-country TEFL training and job placement programs.

Ninja Teacher Academy offers an internationally recognized, 4-Week 150 Hour TEFL / TESOL training and certification in Vietnam that equips you with the skills, confidence and certificate needed to become an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher in countries across the globe. The course is conducted in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City in District 1! After completing your TESOL training and certification we assist you with securing employment in a paid position in Vietnam.

The 120-hour self-paced online TEFL course will equip you with the skills, knowledge and certificate needed to get a job and start earning an income in countries around the world or online.

Signing up to join Ninja Teacher was one of the best impulse decisions I’ve ever made! The support is fantastic, before arrival, throughout the duration of the course and after graduation. I have found this invaluable, living away from home and doing something I’ve never done before. The team at ninja teacher are not only patient, kind and incredibly understanding but exceptionally experienced and knowledgable too. The course is structured brilliantly, and it was rewarding feeling my confidence build more and more each day, putting my knowledge into practise in a classroom environment, both with peers and during my solo teaching. I am excited to start working soon as I have just secured a job and apartment in the beautiful HCMC!

From top to bottom, this course was worth it. I learned so much about teaching that I didn’t know, I met so many people that helped me out and I got set up for a job I’m very happy with.

Before the course even started, they helped me get everything ready to go for the move to Vietnam. To have a structure system in place is what gave me the piece of mind that I needed to make the leap.

I recommend Ninja teacher to anyone and I recommend that you take the leap.

Hands down, the best academic and professional decision I have made in the past decade was to enroll in the Ninja Teacher Academy TEFL program. From Miranda’s facilitation in getting us prepared, Chi’s all round support and wizardry in making our transition from newbies to qualified teachers a seamless affair, to Sadie’s incredible teaching skills and patience in moulding us into educators who will not crumble under any potential pressure while showing us the paramount importance of dedication and preparation; all under the watchful and kind stewardship of Alex, Ninja Teacher is a no brainer for any folks who wish to teach in Vietnam.

It is invaluable in aiding in that transition, creating a network, working closely with other teachers in training, gaining first hand experience, and being part of a well respected alumni. My experience with Ninja Teacher will not only serve me well while in Vietnam, but has provided me with transferable skills that will benefit me for many years to come.

You will not find a better in-person TEFL course in Saigon than Ninja Teacher. The course was great including instructional training, class observations and solo teaching. But probably the best thing going for them is their reputation as the leader in this space. We had no less than 5 different reputable English centers vying for our services as new English teachers. Many came with elaborate presentations and swag gifts. I personally received a verbal offer in 5 days upon graduation and the formal offer letter within a week of graduation. As of this writing, I am still waiting on another formal offer. In short, you will easily get interviews as the Ninja Teacher team competently assists in this process from helping prepare your CV to sending emails on your behalf to initiate the interview process. The demand is high for English teachers in Vietnam and Ninja Teacher graduates are the preferred choice for many of these English learning centers.

I had a great experience with the course at Ninja! The instructors and staff were helpful and very professional throughout the entire process. Not only did we receive great instruction, but we also received job support help with updating our CVs,, interviewing techniques, and placement assistance. The staff also added a lot of value with helping with pre-travel preparation, and then while there, assisted with immigration/legal documents.

Excellent value! I encourage you to choose Ninja!

Really good course, friendly team. I have done an online TEFL years ago with a different company, and I taught in Brazil and Spain however, this course provides you with so much more! I have learnt invaluable classroom management techniques and with the hands-on experience and the group feedback sessions, I feel fully equipped to embark on a teaching job in Vietnam.

Having no knowledge of Vietnamese (the language, nor the culture), I found it very daunting to make the leap here however, I feel now that I can settle in.

One error in judgement though… I didn’t realise though how much faff it would be to get my documents in order, I wish I’d given myself more time beforehand to be better organised and save up more money.

I completed the 4-week in-person TEFL course at Ninja Teacher in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in October 2022. Ninja Teacher is a great option for anyone looking to get certified to teach English abroad. The course is well-structured, and the teachers are experienced and knowledgeable. The best part is that they also offer job placement assistance which is very useful. I received a lot of help from the staff at Ninja Teacher and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to teach English abroad, especially in Vietnam.

From the moment you sign up to getting you a job they help you in everything you need to get to Vietnam, culturally adjusted, tefl qualification and great assistance and advise in attaining a job. Everyone there is very friendly and always willing to help.

I was on the June 2023 course and couldn’t recommend it more. The staff are amazing, the professional instruction from the teachers is unmatched. You will be supported from start to finish, before leaving for Vietnam to well after the course.

Their connections to high value schools across the country makes the transition into getting a job afterwards seamless.

You’ll also have a lot of fun and make many new friends and great connections.
