Great course! Keeps things interesting bu adding visuals and sometimes auditory samples to keep you on track. Doesn’t take to long to complete the whole course. I didn’t need to speak to a tutor once because the course is very straight forward. Would recommend it’s a great online course unlike some other programs .

myTEFL was a convenient and easy-to-follow way to earn my TEFL certification at my own pace, from the comfort of my own home. The tutor support and Resource Library are great tools, that helped me move along and complete my certification without any issues, and the Job Assistance they offer upon completion is second-to-none. Can’t recommend this program enough!

I have to say, I’ve been wanting to do this for about 3 years. Everything seemed a little strange until I found TEFL online 2021. It was explained well enough as you go thru the tests and easy to understand when you are reading about the course – that’s what I loved about this site. Then when I had questions, customer service was right there to answer my questions quickly.

Once I got into learning about becoming a TEFL teacher, I was like this is pretty simple until I got to the test. (Oh no – tests!!!) This wasn’t a game! I had to really sit there and concentrate on what I was doing. It brought back memories of when I was in school, however, there were things I didn’t learn in school (I was like a deer in headlights like the phonics section). I don’t know if that had to do with the company being Canadian.

Nevertheless, I felt the program was a little repetitious but in a good way, in order to retain what was learned. After applying to the 120 hours I decide to go further and do the 140 hours. I have to say, I’ve learned a heck of a lot, and being an English teacher I know I’m going to have to stay on my game.

I’m glad I found TEFL. As they say, “Everything happens for a reason.” Now that I’ve passed, I have another credential that will make me more valuable when applying for a job. Thank you soooo much!!!!

This is a really well designed course. From beginning to end the content is logical, practical and helpful. Before taking this course I thought I might be able to land a teaching job based on my degree and just “wing it” however as I progressed I realised how unprepared I would be without it. Great tips for lesson planning and easy access to feedback and help. Highly recommend this course to anyone considering teaching English overseas.

I am currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Education program and a peer recommended MyTEFL to me when I mentioned wanting to receive certification to teach English as a second language (ESL). I’m glad I listened and enrolled, it was a great experience. Some units of the course pertained to things I am learning in the Education degree, which was proof to me that the course was putting my on the right track to enhance my teaching practice and learning methods to help students learn a second language. I was grateful the course provided lessons on English vocabulary and grammar rules because I had forgotten many of the terms, as it comes naturally to me at this point. In addition, the course taught me teaching strategies and techniques that will not only prove useful in teaching ESL, but also in my teaching practice as a whole.

I am grateful for the abundance of resources MyTEFL provides in their library, which I fully intend to utilize throughout my practice as I have permanent access through my enrollment. I did the 140 hour course because I intend to teach online, which will help me immensely as a school teacher as well given the way education is going. Not only did this course increase my knowledge and enhance my teaching practice, but also my confidence in teaching.

When I had questions, the support staff and customer service were quick to respond and very helpful. I would recommend this course to anyone. I am really impressed with the company and the course itself. I am looking forward to putting what I have learned to use with one of the online teaching companies MyTEFL suggested to me.

I really enjoyed the flexibility myTEFL. I did the online course which was pretty self explanatory, but very thorough. The quizzes weren’t hard but you definitely needed to pay attention in order to pass them. myTEFL’s customer service and support line is always very helpful too. I initially had issues with enrollment, but they were quick to fix the problem. I would recommend the online course if you have a strong sense of self discipline.

Overall I think that this was a good quality course and it was not overly difficult . It is not an English test rather it’s a teaching manual. They tell you how to present information to students properly. I would like to have seen more variety in teaching methods taking into account behavioural issues and dealing with very young children. I had already began teaching when I signed up for the course and I found much of what they said to be relevant and applicable. It was not overly opinionated and emphasized important standards.

I took the 140 hour online course. The content is in-depth and well explained. Everything learnt is largely applicable to a classroom. There is plenty of reading involved, but the writing style and layout is very user friendly. There are many mini quizzes, but nothing that was extremely difficult and the quizzes are designed to help you retain information. Overall I enjoyed the course and would recommend it to others.

I just completed the 140 Hour TEFL Course Online and am very satisfied with my experience. The course content was relevant and well structured. The different lessons gave me a good overview of the EFL teaching profession. I particularly appreciated the module dedicated to online teaching, an option that I am seriously considering. The course provided various examples of problems and challenges facing EFL teachers. However, I would have liked to see actual videos of teachers in action. I didn’t need help to complete any of the nine modules, but it was reassuring knowing I could get the assistance of a tutor if needed. The course being entirely in English posed no barrier to comprehension, even though French is my first language.
