very poor customer service and they dont allow me to freeze account , pause payment or cancel my account. so even though im not using the account they still want me to pay

Avoid at all costs. The customer service is diabolical. They never answer their emails, the online chat option is useless and whoever is employed to answer it needs to be fired for being clueless and extremely rude and when you call you’re on hold for 30+ minutes. My assignments were late to be marked and I was on the old portal which if I didn’t complete my course by July 31st everything would be lost. This company affected me and gave me awful anxiety. Please avoid this, there’s so many better companies who actually care about your development.

Passed course in February still waiting for certification. Once completed course they have no interest in replying. Can’t get my certificate so haven’t had any work yet.

Worst mistake of my life signing up with i-to-i Tefl.

Your assignment will NEVER be marked passed on the first attempt. They will make sure you submit it a few times so as to extort money from you, they charge for every attempt after the second attempt. They reply to messages after 5-7 days , they take 2 weeks or more to mark your assignments. They drag it out until you have to pay for a course extension.

Please stay away from this company.

I put a deposit down and tried the level 5 course, I found there was mistakes. For example duplicate questions I did not feel it was worth continuing I cancelled the course and applied for the refund.. this was over 30 days and I am still waiting.. fortunately I took evidence for the bank transcript of my conversation with customer service that the refund is in place I had completed the refund form, someone from learn direct the sister company asked why I was leaving so I explained I tried to call i to i but they did not answer to be honest it feels like a scam.. so I wait to hear from the bank to get my 108£ refunded, I have a Uk bank, I to I is also a Uk business so I don’t understand why it should take 30 days even customer service says it a long process, but don’t worry 30-+! Days later I’m still waiting and now the bank has to chase them, very unprofessional what else can I say? I have previously completed level 3 with I to I

After completing my course I have not yet received my certificate, they just don’t care, have been phoning, emailed and using the live chat option and they have different excuses every day. I will not recommend using i-to-i Tefl!!!

I to I is very bad ‘ve been waiting for 5 weeks now for tfel certificate. No feedback they don’t pick up their calls. The live chat agents is rude and unprofessional. It has good content. But the lectures are not helpful in any way

I’ve been working like crazy on this course, did my assignment, it got sent back with revisions required. Okay. Did them sent it back after having an EFL teacher friend look over it. He said it was an excellent lesson plan and better than something he would submit. It was sent back to me with new revisions to add and a £10 bill to have it remarked. I’ve asked for a refund and threatened them with the small claims court if they don’t reply, I’m going to the Tefl academy to complete my studies. I-to-i Will hold your grades hostage and then extort as much out of you as they can. Plus, your inbox will fill up with really hard selling emails for the new 120 hope course you simply must buy. No, this company is disgusting and they are really difficult to communicate with. I found little to no support and I’m using another provider. The learning isn’t even made fun. They teach how to plan lessons and present them but all you are doing is reading, making copious notes and then end of unit tests riddled with questions that try to catch you out rather than encourage you. I’m not impressed.

Time wasters (literally the business model)

Do not let the company’s slick exterior fool you, lurking underneath the shiny exterior of i-to-i lies an incompetent mess designed to waste your time and hoover up your money. None of my assignments were marked on time. They de-listed my assignments without marking them. Tutors seem to forget who you are everytime they reply to your messages. Feedback is vague and contradictory, as if they superficially select an obscure point to fail you on in order to extend the time taken to complete the course. This all feels like deliberate company policy, as at every opportunity they try to sell you faster marking packages and expensive course extensions. After speaking to other people I found this to be normal experience.

In summary I would avoid this company, they charge a lot of money for a poor service. Save up for a CELTA instead and save your wallet and your sanity.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Firstly everything on their website is a lie. They say assignments marked within 7 days? Nope lie takes much longer. They say that after you complete the 180 hour portion of your 420 hour diploma you’ll receive a certificate that you can start using in the meantime? Nope another lie. They say once you’ve completed your whole course and completed payment you’ll receive your eCertificate two weeks after that? Nope yet another lie because here I am almost a month later and I haven’t received my certificate.

Then there is the customer service which is absolutely useless. Chatbot is useless obviously because it regurgitates answers and doesn’t understand any context or nuance. They don’t respond to emails and dodge calls by leaving you on hold forever.

So all in all a company from hell. Guaranteed the worst service you’ll ever receive in your life.
