I come from zero teaching experience. As the next step after the 120hrs TEFL certificate, I was at a loss as to what would happen next and where even to begin when it comes to preparing and delivering a lesson. Michelle K. was able to clearly deliver and explain each part of the preparation process, showed us how to do it (which was great to see in live settings) and then each of us presented our own lesson in the class. My first teaching experience so to speak.

Michelle, thank you for your time, patience, clear and precise delivery method and thank you for answering all our questions and giving us some advice. I know that experience is what is needed, but at least now I have an idea how it works.

I throughly enjoyed my 10 hour virtual course, it was a great first experience of being taught online! Michelle was a great teacher, she made the lesson very fun and I could understand everything clearly throughout! I would definitely recommend using Premier TEFL! Thankyou!

After searching the web for numerous course providers, I decided to opt for The TEFL Institute. I chose wisely; they have been so helpful right from the beginning. It took a while for me to get going, but once I got stuck into the course, I flew through the Premier 120 with ease in three weeks. I’d recommend it to any of my friends. They also had a great after-service when I looked for a job.

I have just completed the 10 hour Virtual TEFL course on Class room Methodologies give by the wonderful Michelle Benson as an instructor. Not only was she extremely enthusiastic and generous with her energy and patience, but made sure to give constructive criticism in a practical and positive way that did not hinder my confidence at all–quite the opposite!

The course was well-planned and concise, with ample breaks and comprehensive content covered in the modules on both the first and second day. The atmosphere of these lessons were both engaging and educational , allowing myself as student to deeply understand the building blocks of what exactly goes on behind the scenes of these lesson plans. In these 2 shorts day I feel as though I have made tremendous progress with my self-esteem but also with my learning as many of the topics cover correlate to my other individual TEFL courses.

To end of–just an enriching experience overall. 10/10. I would definitely recommend others to give it a try!

I really enjoyed this course and it was a great introduction to the world of TEFL.

Our course tutor Michelle was brilliant, she was very encouraging, managed our time really well and patient with everyone. She was able to keep everyone engaged in the course and answered all of our queries extensively.

We all had opportunities to speak, answer questions and share our teaching practice sessions. This was very fun and interactive.

It was a lovely opportunity to meet other course participants on a similar path, we were able to interact and share experiences and support each other through the course. We have since made a WhatsApp group so we can keep in touch!

This 10 hours course was very helpful. It gave me an initial idea of what it takes to become an ESL teacher. The instructor was extremely positive and engaging. Giving the learners all the tips needed to teach effectively. I highly recommend Michelle Benson, she will make your learning journey a fun and exciting experience!

I cannot recommend the 10 Hour Advanced Certificate in TEFL Classroom Methodologies Course highly enough! Intensive and demanding, the course was an exhilarating introduction to teaching English in on online environment. The course included both theoretical and practical approaches to online teaching, including an opportunity to actually be a teacher!

Our instructor, Michelle Benson, was a wealth of knowledge, both academic and practical. An excellent facilitator, Ms Benson was both encouraging and challenging, creating a welcoming and interesting environment in which her students could learn the fundamentals of online teaching. The review of the grammar necessary for teaching was concise but thorough, giving the students a review of the grammar essential to education. The practicum was also excellent, as Ms Benson guided the class through a practical, hands on approach to teaching, allowing the students to actually feel what it is like to be a teacher online. While I was nervous at first, my instructor and fellow classmates helped me through the presentation. It was a very rewarding experience! The TEFL Institute provides a demanding, but rewarding environment, with lots of resources to draw on. The Grammar Guide was particularly useful!

I heartfeltly recommend this course, it is an absolutely essential guide to online instruction. If you are interested in teaching English online, you really should take this course!

It is not very often that we could reflect on what we had learned in our classes, especially if you had been attending classes till 1am . 2 days, 10 hours, and what loads of tips and information. Well Done, Michelle Benson. Excellent time management with ensuring the content was taken in by the participants. Michelle was very encouraging and the feedback given during our teaching class was very constructive. Every minute was consumed with lots of energy and interaction. At the end of the session, I feel proud that I gained not just the certificate but plenty of tips that I can use very frequently. I strongly recommend the TEFL Teaching Methodologies – its absolute value for money, and what positive energy!!

Despite the limited time frame, I found the course to be well-constructed. Michelle Benson, the trainer, adeptly guided me and the other students through the “how-to” techniques of teaching an online class. The materials were appropriate for the subject matter, presenting the structure of a class step by step and outlining the best approaches for maximum efficiency. Michelle incorporated numerous interactive sessions and group activities, which greatly boosted my confidence to start teaching immediately. I appreciated Michelle’s thorough preparation and natural delivery of the training material. Kudos to Michelle—I would highly recommend this course to anyone.

I enjoyed the course with Michelle Bensen and gained a lot of confidence to move forward in my teaching career. It was professional and well presented. Lots of tips and great strategies. Especially impressed with her grammar tenses explanation – thank you Michelle! you’ve taken a lot of the stress away. ( I just wish Id written more notes in the beginning as I didn’t realize until a little way into the course that your helpful comments weren’t all in the workbook). Highly recommend.
