To date, I’ve completed the 180 hour Level 5 Diploma, and the 10 hour virtual teaching course, and so far I’m very impressed by what the TEFL Institute has to offer. The 180 hour course is very thorough, covering all aspects of language learning, and though it is challenging, it is also hugely enjoyable.
The 10 hour Virtual Teaching course was something I was apprehensive about taking part in – mostly because of having to spend hours online – but unexpectedly, it turned out to be a really fun and inspiring experience. The main contributor to this was the very gifted teacher trainer, Michelle Benson, who motivated and encouraged us all the way through. It is clear that she has a passion for teaching, and that was transmitted to everyone involved. I would recommend the 10 hour Virtual Teaching course as essential training for all new teachers. I feel much more confident about my teaching abilities as a result of taking part in it.
The TEFL Institute is overall very well organised, with dedicated staff and a lot of backup resources and information. Highly recommended!
