I really enjoyed the TEFL course, I have just finished the 120-hour accredited course and found it to be straight forward and the flow was really good. The staff were lovely and always responded to my questions quickly. No regrets here.

When I started my 120 hour course I was a bit scared because I’m not a native speaker but everything was so clear that I couldn’t mistaken anything! Thanks a lot TEFL Institute, I’m so proud of this achievement!

Studying through the TEFL Institute has been rewarding and has exceeded my expectations. The course places one right in the heart of the classroom, making not only the language skills clear and accessible, but also placing the content within a meaningful context. I feel equipped to pursue teaching as a career.

A specialization course in “Language for Academic Purposes” would be great.

It would also be great should the content be available for download (in order to keep as a reference).

This has been worth the money and effort. Well done!

Came to know about this website a while ago and since I needed a tefl certificate I gave it a go. I must say that I was surprised by speed at which my emails were responded and by the overall service I was given. Would recommend it.

I have completed a few courses with the TEFL Institute of Ireland. I found all to be extremely well presented with up to date content, great tips. TEFL Institute make it a pleasure to study Teaching English. Great Tutor support, and the many add ons and services such as assisting students with all areas from job hunting to setting up as freelancers. I highly recommend studying with TEFL Institute.

I recently completed the 30 hour teaching online course. I found the content of the course to be practical and easy to understand and hope to apply some of the approaches outlined in my own teaching online.

Each module of the course was well organized, and many helpful links to videos and resources were provided throughout the course. I appreciated that each module and its quiz had to be completed before the next module would be unlocked. This kept me motivated to keep going and to stay on track. The quizzes were useful to test one’s knowledge of the material taught. Although I finished each quiz within minutes, It would have been helpful to know if there was an actual time limit for each quiz. Thank you for delivering an excellent course!

In January, I completed my Level 5 180 hour TEFL course with the Institute of Ireland. The course content was excellent and prepared me for my teaching practice which I began in the same month. I completed my course in about 6-8weeks but I was lucky that I could solely focus on the course. If you had a full-time job, it may take you longer to complete. Jacob, the course director was amazing. He was very quick to reply and assisted me with any course content questions I had. I enjoyed the Level 5 course so much that I enrolled in the Teaching Young Learners and Teaching Business English 30 hour courses.

I just finished the 180hr level 5 online course.

I spent over €200 on it. Imagine my disappointment, however when I discovered that that not inconsequential amount of money does not cover the actual certification.

If you want the course to be of any value, you must also pay up to €70 extra for a hard copy or €40 for a digital one.

And to be clear, it is not that you won’t have a piece of paper to hang on your wall. It means that you might as well never have attempted the course.

It´s a disappointing move by the Institute, as it is obvious that they are attempting to make the course seem cheaper than it is, and using the importance of certification as a tool to extort more money from their own customers. It would be so simple to include the cost of accreditation in the initial costs. But they don´t

It is a dishonest choice by them any way you look at it.

I have recently completed the TOEIC course with the tefl institute. I found the facilities very easy to use and the modules easy to follow. Everything is layer out clearly with a good structure. I felt it provided me with all the necessary information for teaching a TOEIC class.

I am glad I took this course, it open me up for more opportunities in the future.
