Hello Folks

I have just finished the course and would like to let you know how much I enjoyed doing it. The modules ten in all, are self contained and informative. The accompanying voice with the slides makes the learning process a pleasure. All I needed was a notebook and pen to jot down key words or remainders. The short quizzes at the end of each module re enforces what you have already learned. I hope in the future to use my new skills to either teach abroad or on-line, that will become clearer as time progresses.

Kind Regards

Eddie Hand

I found the this course was exactly what I needed to brush up on my skills. I had taught English for some years in the South of Italy but then became busy with other things but I wanted to take the opportunity to bring myself up to date. I welcome the opportunity going forward to influence the lives of my students for the better and will keep pursuing this amazing topic. The course provided all the help I needed and I am grateful for it. Very highly recommended!

I have just completed the 120 hour course with TEFL Institute of Ireland. It is very well laid out and not overwhelming in the slightest.

I have finished a 30-hour IELTS course. It contains 8 units, which cover the layout of the exam, look through each skill and give the assessment criteria. The course is well-planned and is extremely easy to follow. The module quizzes give a chance to check the knowledge afterwards.

I thought this TEFL course was very well put together and the website extremely simple to navigate. I am a recent graduate in a joint honors bachelor’s degree in languages and did not know what step to take after graduating this last year, so I decided that the TEFL course would be the best option for me in this stage. It is feesible and stress free as you are given a large period of time to cover the course and the exams for each module. I also enjoyed how I could go back and re-attempt tests I had already submitted, or look at past lesson content whenever I wanted. I will gladly and proudly make use of my certificate when I am career searching in the future!

Enjoyable course; I managed to finish the 120-hour advanced TEFL in 3 weeks at my own pace. I found the staff really helpful, especially Elaine; nothing was ever too much trouble. She helped me set myself up to teach online.

I’ve just found my first four Chinese students to teach. I thoroughly recommend the TEFL Institute; they have been extremely pleasant to work with.

Hello all you out there doing or thinking of doing a TEFL 120 hr course with the tefl institute of Ireland. I’d say by all means do it if you are serious about the English language and genuinely interested in helping students who want to learn English.

This institute and course is 100 percent genuine. It is extremely well laid out, the site works without a hitch. There are online meetings on Tuesday nights if you need them and a vibrant Discord community.

What surprised me, because I considered myself pretty good at English in class, and have a BA in English Lit and history, were ‘the things that I didn’t even know that I didn’t know’ (To roughly quote, I think Rumfield? the American politician who once said about US intelligence ‘there are the things we know we know, the things we know we don’t know and the things we don’t even know that we don’t know’ (Phew, I’m almost sorry I started that. I hope you get the gist.

Anyway, I’m referring to in particular parts of grammar that is undiscovered country for me and, even scarier, the cataloguing of past, present and future into it’s many parts (past simple, past present continuous and so on.)

To help you, and I love this because I love reference books, they give excellent resources in books, online and in person (conference etc) to increase your learning in these areas.

So yes, if you are serious about teaching English as a TEFL teacher (and I’m already working and loving it) then this course is an excellent place to get the necessary qualification. From there, depending of your life situation, you can go almost anywhere or stay in Ireland and build an excellent academic qualification.
