I took The TEFL Academy’s Level 5 168-hour TEFL course and would recommend it to anyone who wants to become qualified while being able to choose when and where they study.

Overall, the course had great content and the online platform was intuitive to navigate. One thing I would have liked to see included is some physical teaching practice so perhaps a practical assessment over Skype could be the next step.

I’m very happy I completed the course as it has given me the skills and confidence I need to teach English as a foreign language while I’m living abroad!

I took the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hours) with The TEFL Academy. The price was too good to be true and I got more then what I expected. The content was appropriate and quite fun to work through with all the quick activities and end of unit tests. When I had enquiries I would get quick and helpful responses. I had failed the last assignment but was helped step for step with everything I had gotten wrong and ended up getting a distinction for my course. I would highly recommend this course to anyone as everything was top notch.

I have completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) so far. I enjoyed this course and gain experience in writing lesson plans and devising teaching materials. Since the course consists not only the text but also the videos, audios, pictures and other useful links, the information was introduced in clear and attractive way. I especially like the tasks and tests which help to revise the aspects of the language.

I would highly recommend this course to my collegues and friends, who are looking for opportunity to succeed in teaching.

I have just finished the on line level 5 (168hr) TEFL course, this was an excellent course, very flexible and user friendly. The assignments were more intense then I was expecting but I learned a lot from completing them. Perhaps we could have more assignments to have some more practice. But, I feel confident in my new skills now and therefore would highly recommend The TEFL Academy to anyone interested in teaching English as a foreign language.

The course was clearly designed easy to understand and explained things in a clear and simple manner. The class room based activities were excellent and the tutor made learning a pleasure. I did think prior to the classroom based activities that two 10 hour days may be too long but the time went really fast due to the structure of the course.

The online units were excellent. Clearly displayed and even the more complex points such as grammar and emphasis on pronunciation were well explained. Particularly useful were the reference points to other websites that were provided. It saved you having to trawl through the internet to find relevant sites.

The assignments were challenging and made you think which was excellent. You had to be resourceful and use initiative which was very good.

I would highly recommend the course as a way of learning.

I recently completed the Level 5 168 hours TEFL course(including the 20 hour practical )

I have to say it was one of the most exciting, thought provoking, compact, yet very challenging courses I have done. At first I thought it would be a walk in the park, but , I was very quickly awoken from my very wrong thoughts…lol…

the weekend practical was amazing. it just broke the ice for me. The lecturer was very knowledgeable and the lessons were well thought out, very interactive and extremely interesting. the course content covered everything a teacher wanting to equip herself with , for teaching English in a foreign country. the course was flexible which meant you could work at your own pace, which suited me well as a working class person. The structure and break down content of the course was just so well presented. the feedback comments from the lecturers marking your assignments were simple and easy to understand. the variety in the course made it interesting and easy to follow through and understand. The assignments were very challenging and lots of hard work was needed. The standard and quality of work required was very high.

I have to say it was one of the most amazing courses I have done and I have already been spreading the word about the calibre of this course to family and friends.

thank you to the TEFL Academy for an amazingly well presented and value for money course.

no student will go wrong in enrolling for one of these courses.

a definite YES course from me.

I have just finished the on line level 5 (168hr) TEFL course, this was an excellent course with a full range of areas covered , it worked great for me as I am working, so I was able to study at my speed. I was able to up the Anty while I was off work on holiday i was able to complete in great time. The course is very flexible and was easy to follow. I am a 55 year old student and found everything great and would recommend it in a heartbeat whatever your age .

I recently completed the combined Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hours) and overall I am very satisfied with my experience at The TEFL Academy! I especially enjoyed the weekend course in Amsterdam. The teacher was so knowledgable and he made the whole experience fun. I do think that the classroom course could have been longer though as I found it helpful to practice what I was learning through the online part of the course in a real life setting.

I found the online segment to be very thorough and easy to follow. The assignments were more intense then I was expecting but I welcomed the challenge and I learned a lot from completing them. The instructors were very helpful and gave very clear feedback. The most difficult module for me was the grammar section but after completing the course I feel confident in my new skills and ready to take on a class of my own.

I would highly reccommend the combined Level 5 Course (168 hours) at The TEFL Academy to anyone interested in teaching English as a foreign language. My time at the Academy has inspired me to continue my education to attain a degree in TEFL. Thank you TEFL Academy!

I did Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and the online tutor support is great and very flexible to my dyslexia. You really can manage around any work you do and its broken into sections and small tests along the way in a fun way. The assignments took a lot of work but the support helped and prepares you well for class.

I finished the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) last week and I am very happy with the course. It improved my English on all levels and I am impressed with the quality of education i received.
