I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to do a TEFL course and I am so relieved that I chose The TEFL Academy. I completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and thoroughly enjoyed it! The content of the course is easy to understand and the examples given are always relevant. I especially appreciated the feedback from my assignments. I have just completed my Level 5 TEFL Course (168hours) and I feel that this combined course with 20 hours of in-class practice was perfect for me.

Though one or two sections of units did lack in-depth information, I think mainly for time constraint purposes, they did give many useful external links if you want to read more about them. Overall the units for the online course were informative and had everything needed for completing the assignments.

The tutors that marked my assignments were great with their feedback and gave me useful advice on what I could improve to help me in the future.

Personally, I would recommend TEFL Academy to anyone looking to pursue a certificate and possible career in teaching English to non-natives.

The corse is packed with useful guides and materials. Its presentation is very clear and easy to understand. Feedback for assignments is constructive and helpful. Definitely a great course for people who are already in the industry and who are just want to step in.

The main thing is that the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) is extremely flexible! I love that I’m able to start a section and if life gets in the way I can come back and finish the section weeks later. It permitted me to vastly improve my working and pragmatic knowledge of ESL Teaching. Besides, it’s a QCF Level 5 class, which means I now hold the equivalent of a CELTA Certificate to a fourth of the cost. The TEFL academy is a honest company and I’m exceedingly happy with their Level 5 class.

I have recently finished the TEFL Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). The content was great and was challenging enough. I really enjoyed the course and it has opened my mind to new possibilities. I highly recommend the 20 – hour classroom time as it quickly takes you out of your comfort zone. You will know exactly what to expect once you enter a classroom after that.

I have just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hours) which includes 20 hours over 2 days in class. It has taken me about 4 months to complete, alongside a full time job, but I could have completed it much quicker if I had worked on it every day.

Being a native English speaker, I wasn’t expecting to learn as much as I have about the English language! I found the course thoroughly interesting and informative. The site was easy to use, and I really liked that the course was broken into 11 modules, with assessments at the end of each of them, so that I gained a sense of how well I was understanding the content throughout and it wasn’t left until right at the end to establish a grade.

The reason for not giving 5 stars overall is due to the level of practice teaching. Whilst I very much enjoyed the 20 hours in class, I think that more focus should be applied to practicing teaching rather than covering material that the online course also covers. Students are allowed to attend the class at any point during the course; whilst the TEFL Academy recommends you have completed at least 1 module online, I believe that it should be mandatory to have completed more than this, so that the basics do not have to be re-itterated in class.

I recently completed the TEFL level 5 (168 hour) course. I had never attempted an online course before and didn’t know what to expect. After paying for the course, you get 6 months access to complete the course. This allows you work at your own pace. The whole course is very well set out. The end of unit tests test your knowledge and understanding of what you’ve learned. I have learned a lot from this course and would definitely recomend it to anyone thinking about teaching English abroad.

I’ve just completed my Level 5 (168 hour) TEFL course, it’s been everything I’d hoped and more. Having previously started and then lost interest in an online TEFL course years ago, I was was sceptical, but willing. The information was thorough but meaningful, there was enough to educate and confirm understanding, but not too much to overload you.

With short in course exercises and concise information these guys found a way to spice up even the driest content. The modules were easy to get through and the language used was very palatable, there were a few assignments to get you thinking practically, and help always on hand. This was a great experience for me and I’m glad I did it. I learned a lot and I am ready and inspired to start teaching. 5/5. Thank you!

The level 5 tefl course (168 hours) provided by the tefl academy is filled with an abundance of information and incredible

resources. The course is incredible value for money and I highly recommend it to anyone that is considering studying TEFL.

As well as the course, they also have many volunteer/internships and work placements available on their website for all ranges of experience and I will be sure to use their website when I am looking for work.

I have studied the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). It was great fun and it wasn’t difficult to complete the course.

I have learnt how to write the lesson plan and. This course was very useful. I have learnt how to write the lesson plan and where to find the activities for students.

I feel that I am ready to teach English.
