I just completed The TEFL Level 5 Online Course (168 hours). I had a really great experience. Before I signed up with the TEFL Academy I did a lot of research on which company to go with for this TEFL certification. I saw a lot of companies on groupon for a low price but the reviews were not that great. The reviews I saw for The TEFL Academy were all really great and I was not disappointed! I learned so much. The assignments challenged me and I feel like I am now prepared to start a job in this field! Highly recommend!

My overall experience was great. From very informative and experienced teacher during our weekend class to very rich content of the online part. This course does not have teaching practice, that’s why I didn’t rate it and they don’t provide job placement. Although, they help with composing CV and a cover letter and provide you with links with job offers. I am glad I took this Level 5 TEFL course (168 hours).

Having just finished the 165 hour Online TEFL course which I throughly enjoyed this course and would recommended it to anyone.

Having been a teacher for 3 years in England I knew much of the information already however the assignments were challenging and it was beneficial to re hash all I have learnt in a different context. The lessons were accessible and activities engaging. Some of the information was repeated throughout various units however I can understand why. Assignments were varied – creating a 60 minute reading lesson, reviewing a course book – and help was always on hand should I need it.

The course has opened a new door for me as a teacher and I can’t wait to get out there.

I have recently completed the TEFL Academy Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) combined classroom and online teaching. This was a very effective course and the lessons plans utilize a lot of the different methods that were taught which is nice to see and shows the value of what we were taught. The 20hr in person class was especially useful and clarified a lot of the uncertainties that I had with the online portion. The assignments were highly relevant and the feedback was fair with lots of details to help you improve going forward. I found the course did not only prepare me for my future teaching career but also in my current profession now. I have not taken any other curriculum, but I would recommend this course to others.

I found the TEFL course to be be easy to follow, understandable, clear and conconcise. I looked at the other courses online and found the TEFL academy to provide an accredited certification in teaching that was within my budget. The staff were quick to respond and the staff marking the assignments had useful constructive feedback. I would recommend the TEFL academy for anyone looking to get their foot on the TEFL rung and start their language teaching career.

I have completed the TEFL Level 5 – 168 hours Online Course.

I have found the course very helpful and the content clear as well. The books I have purchased I will be able to take with me on my TEFL journey. I now know a lot more about teaching English as a Foreign Language. Feedback after assignments could have been more clear as to were I would need to change and improve but overall good feedback.

TEFL helped me a lot and teaches you very well.

I enjoyed taking the course and thought it was well structured and clear to follow. I enjoyed the in class training and found it to be very helpful and give me some experience of what it’s like to teach a class. I liked that feedback was given for the assessments. Overall it was a great course, and hopefully I will soon find a teaching job and can start teaching!

I have just completed the advanced 168 hour online course and can say its the best thing i ever did. It is easy to navigate and ypu have plenty of time to do the course and balance it around work ans home life. The course contents is ideal and very thorough. Providing excellent understanding and teaching skills. The suppprt offered is also excellent. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to start a new chapter in life. I am now in Turkey and hope to find a job very soon. A new start in a new country. I am so excited to start this new journey. Thanks all to tefl.

I can honestly say the TEFL Academy’s Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) was one of the best career moves I made. There is a plethora of online courses available, but the pre-course web content and the cost of the course, along with the classroom time was a perfect combination for signing up.

As someone with a full-time job, changing career, I was only able to do serious course work on the weekends, and found the time allocation more than sufficient to get through the work and do revision in some areas.

I started with the classroom sessions and found that having the opportunity to practice brand new skills on peers was both intimidating and hugely rewarding. One cannot fail to be nervous to stand in front of a group of adults and try to teach them an English skill they ‘don’t know’. However, having the immediate feedback from the course instructor provided valuable insight into how one needs to be in a classroom. I think anyone trying to complete a course without classroom time should give this aspect of the course serious consideration.

The online part of the course is very well set out, and guides one along a clearly-defined learning path. There are micro-tests every so often, and each unit culminates in a test before you move on. There is plenty of additional study, i.e. links to external content, all of which is relevant, and often leads one to find many other items of interest and education along the way. It is well-worth clicking every one of those links to increase your knowledge and discovery of the TEFL world.

The assignments are certainly not easy, compared to the end of unit tests. If you want to produce your very best work, consider at least double the time indicated in the course for assignment completion. They test your application of knowledge and require a fair bit of research to complete. However, once you’ve put the first assignment together, the sense of satisfaction is fantastic!

Lastly – the online support from the TEFL Academy was excellent. There were no delays to queries submitted, instructors went out of their way with assistance – especially the grammar sections – and post course feedback and certification was swift and efficient.

I highly recommend this course. It’s a gateway to change your life.

I have completed 168 hours TEFL level 5 course with TEFL Academy. I did learn a lot and I must admit I have found the assignments challenging enough which is good as I had to research and really focus on preparing them, hence I was able to really feel how much work a new teacher would need to place in lesson preparation etc but on the other hand I have gained a confidence that I am able to do it too! The tutors feedback were great and helpful, clearly pointing the areas for improvement.

I did enjoy studying and I really look forward to finding a job as EFL teacher.
